Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1522

She halted mid-step, initially wanting to ignore the racket. But it was clear these people weren't planning to quiet down anytime soon.

Every word they uttered seemed to have her name attached to it. If she barged in now, it would only make things worse, disrupting whatever scene they were creating.

With a soft chuckle, Fiona decided to pop on her headphones and lean against the doorframe, diving into a game on her phone.

As the game music filled her ears, the noise inside the dorm started to fade, though a few nasty comments still managed to creep through.

"Staying out all night is one thing, but Fiona is just shameless. Flirting with a guy right in front of the hospital—did you catch that story? She kicked someone away like a total delinquent."

"Ugh, stop, you're making me sick. How does someone like that even have the nerve to show her face around here?"

"If I were her, I'd be too embarrassed to come back to school."

Fiona cranked up the volume, letting them rant all they wanted.

Another girl wandered out from a nearby dorm, having heard all the commotion. She assumed Fiona had been kicked out and called out a couple of times, but got no reply.

Hearing the disdain and insults thrown Fiona's way, she smirked, intentionally walked over, and bumped into Fiona hard.

If Fiona hadn't been leaning against the wall, she might've been sent crashing into the window corner.

"Oh, there's actually someone here? Didn't realize you were blocking the path!" The girl sneered, her voice thick with sarcasm. "What? Got kicked out, did you?"
