Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1540

Janet strutted over to her desk with a smug grin, letting out an exaggerated sigh as she pulled out a few signed postcards from her backpack and spread them out on the table.

"I’ve got a few postcards signed by my brother here. Take a look, and if you see one you like, you can have it. One per person, and it’s first come, first served."

With that, a small crowd quickly gathered around her desk, eager to pick through the postcards. Meanwhile, Fiona was sprawled over her desk, lost in a comic book, her lips occasionally curling into a secretive smile.

"Who grins like that just from reading a comic? Seriously, there's gotta be something off with her," someone muttered.

"Janet, doesn't she look like a complete fool?" Patricia nudged Janet with her elbow, wearing a smirk of disdain. "Look at her, acting like a total idiot."

Janet raised an eyebrow and glanced sideways. "What happened last night? Spill the beans."

Patricia didn’t hold back, spinning a tale that placed all the blame squarely on Fiona, conveniently omitting the part where she had soaked Fiona’s bed, forcing her to leave the dorm.

"So, you’re saying Fiona didn’t sleep in the dorm last night?" Janet asked, her tone cautious.

Then she remembered Allen's tweet from the previous night, and her eyes narrowed with a fierce glint. "I knew that schemer was up to no good!"
