Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1555

Fiona finally dropped her gaze, avoiding Allen's eyes.

"Let him come over," Jackson said.

The attendant, understanding the cue, stepped aside, allowing Allen to make his way over to Jackson, fixing his appearance along the way. "Mr. Woods, could I have a word with you in private?"

Jackson gently tousled Fiona's hair, giving her a warm, reassuring smile. "If you're hungry, go ahead and eat. I won't be long."

He turned, and the two men stepped into a private room. Allen followed closely, shutting the door firmly behind them. "Mr. Woods, could you give me another chance?"

Getting knocked off his current top spot would mean an uncertain climb back up.

"Is that all you wanted to say?" Jackson asked, a hint of impatience creeping into his voice. He glanced at his watch, eyebrows raised. "You've got three minutes."

"I have proof of my innocence. If you don't replace me, I can bring more benefits to Woods Corporation. For the next three years, I won't take a dime."

Jackson's interest piqued, he gave Allen a curious look. The potential gains from Allen were substantial, especially with three years of free service.

After a moment's consideration, Jackson nodded. "Alright, I'll give you this chance."

"I'll give you five days to sort this out. I'll make sure you're supported, and your status won't drop."

Allen's eyes sparkled with excitement as he replied eagerly, "Thank you, Mr. Woods. I won't let you down."

As they emerged from the private room, Christina stood at the door, looking serious and a bit pale, her gaze sharp with anger directed at Allen.
