Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1569

If something really went down with her, Keaton and his crew might not catch wind of it right away.

"What are you doing here?" Fiona asked, pretending not to know.

Sometimes, messing with a clueless fool can be pretty entertaining.

"I... I just..."

Patricia stumbled over her words, unable to string together a decent answer.

Fiona gave a mocking smile, stepping closer. She hooked her finger under Patricia's chin and let out a cold chuckle. "You're not following us, are you? Hmm?"

Fiona's gaze lingered on Patricia's earpiece, spooking Patricia into quickly ending the call and fumbling to play some music instead.

Sweat started to bead on Patricia's forehead, as if Fiona was some kind of notorious villain.

"I just wanted to see what you and Nash were up to. I didn't mean to snoop. We're all students, and students shouldn't be dating early."

Ha!

Fiona nearly burst out laughing. She smirked, removing the earpiece from Patricia's ear with a soft chuckle. "The music's way too loud; it could bug people. Best to switch it off."

Patricia nodded furiously, quickly silencing her phone.

A few seconds later, Fiona's voice echoed again. "Nash and I have some private stuff to talk about. It's none of your business, so you should head back down."

"Are you really seeing Nash?" Patricia's eyes widened, pointing at Fiona as her voice shook. "Aren't you involved with Mr. Fitzgerald? And now with Nash?"

Her eyes gave away her thoughts.

Fiona could clearly see that Patricia thought she was someone who'd flirt with anyone who had cash.

"Think what you like." Fiona pulled her towards the gazebo's railing, holding her head firmly with a sinister smile. "If you want us to find your lifeless body in a pool of blood when we get back, feel free to hang around."

"You wouldn't dare!"
