Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1589

"Jackson, I'm just upset. He's been giving Fiona a hard time."

Jackson turned to Fiona, his eyes soft and smiling. "Fiona, do you feel bullied?"

Fiona was too busy enjoying the feast in front of her to worry about the conversation. She glanced up at Jackson, her look pure and sweet. "Not at all. I've known what she's like for a while now."

No reason to get worked up, especially since Yvenne wasn't even worth the fuss.

"I really like the evening gown you got me," Fiona said, sipping her lemonade and peeking into the shopping bag.

Inside was a stunning midnight blue evening gown. As soon as she unfolded it, it was like stars had tumbled from the sky—utterly breathtaking.

Fiona didn't try it on, but just seeing a glimpse, she knew it was the latest limited edition—one of a kind in the world. She’d caught it in a magazine feature.

"Yes, your favorite midnight blue," Jackson replied, taking a sip of water.

After carefully packing away the gown, Jackson drove Fiona back to her college, giving her a few pointers and slipping some candies from his pocket into her tiny hand.

"Don't go overboard with the sweets tonight."

"Thanks, big brother. Stay safe."

Watching Fiona head back to her dorm, Jackson finally pulled out his phone and redialed a number.

Within seconds, a voice was on the line.

"Sir, we've found Christina."

Jackson’s eyes narrowed, his expression cooling at the thought of Christina's wrongdoings. If he hadn't stepped in, Christina would have made sure Fiona took the fall for murder. Anyone who dared to hurt his Fiona wouldn’t get off easily.
