Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1600

After settling the matter with the Woods family's old manor, Fiona was about to head out. She'd only stopped by to clear things up, after all.

But just as she was turning to leave, Nash's mom grabbed her arm. With the sky getting darker, she gave Jackson a playful nudge, thinking it was high time he got a clue. As his sister, she felt a responsibility to steer him right. Missing this chance would be a real shame, and she wouldn't know what to do with him.

"Fiona, did you bring me any new trinkets today? The ones you brought before were absolutely gorgeous and have become prized pieces in my collection," Nash's mom said, her eyes lighting up with excitement as she cheerfully dragged Fiona into her room.

"Come on, dear, let's head to my room and check out your latest treasures."

Fiona nodded, knowing there was still time, and Jackson would likely drive her back later. She didn't dwell on it much.

"Mom, what are you up to? Fiona needs to get back to school later, or she might miss dorm curfew," Nash urged, feeling a bit uneasy about his mom's intentions with Fiona hanging around. It wasn't that he didn't trust her; it was just that her antics were often unpredictable.

"You little rascal, get out of here," Nash's mom playfully scolded, giving him a light shove. "Interrupt me, will you? I'll teach you a lesson."

Nash glanced over at Jackson, who suddenly called out to Mary, "When's dinner ready?"

"In about half an hour, young master."

"Okay," Jackson replied. Dinner first, then seeing Fiona off, seemed to fit the schedule.
