"Just do what I tell you, no need for all the drama!"
The memory of that day was a humiliation for Jillian, and Odelia's mention of it made her blood boil.
"Odelia, I'm trying to talk to you civilly. Don't think I'm a pushover. Even if I'm not at the University of Maple Grove, I can make sure you can't stay in school."
Jillian's threat was clear. "Besides, this time, it's foolproof. All you have to do is hand this box of cookies to Flora. Once this is done, I promise I'll leave you alone and keep supporting your family."
Odelia forced a bitter smile. The thought of Jillian leaving her alone was a relief in itself; she didn't dare hope for any financial help.
Jillian pressed on, "Take the risk, or I'll ruin you right now. Your choice."
Odelia clenched her fists. If she refused, Jillian would definitely not let her off the hook; she would ruin her reputation without hesitation.
Deep down, Odelia harbored resentment towards Flora but had never found an opportunity to act on it.
Jillian wouldn't dare make a move again after her last failure unless she was absolutely certain of success this time, right?
"Fine, I'll help you. But this is the last time. Don't you dare come to me again!"
Odelia decided to take the gamble.
A triumphant smile spread across Jillian's face.
After returning from the office that day, Christian had locked her up and even talked about sending her abroad.
She had barely managed to escape.
Her life was ruined by Flora, and she wouldn't let Flora get away with it!
After handing the water to Odelia, she headed straight to classroom 207 in building three.
