"He's totally lost it!" The woman cried out in despair, "If you don't come soon, that man will kill me!"
She hadn't even managed to get close to him and already almost got killed.
The door swung open, and Flora stepped inside, spotting Connor slumped against the wall. His shirt was drenched in sweat.
A pang of pain hit Flora’s heart.
The discomfort radiating from his very bones was driving Connor to the brink of madness, desperate for an outlet. But he knew he had to hold back.
The woman’s presence loomed closer, her slender, fair legs beneath her skirt catching Connor’s eye. He clenched his hand against the floor.
"Get out!"
"Connor, it’s me..."
Hearing the familiar voice, the last thread of Connor’s restraint snapped! He yanked her into his arms, his hot breath engulfing Flora, pinning her to the ground.
Rafael and the others quietly backed out of the room, closing the door behind them.
...
Rafael and his crew had caused the trouble, but it was Flora who had to clean up the mess.
Connor rarely touched Flora, feeling protective over her youth. Even though she drove him crazy with desire, he always controlled himself. This was the first time he had lost control so completely.
Seeing the bruises on Flora’s body made him feel awful.
"Let me see."
Flora was so embarrassed she could hardly look at him. "Don’t look..."
But he didn’t listen and frowned deeply at the sight of her injuries.
She needed ointment.
He called Moss to buy some medicine.
Ten minutes later, Moss showed up, face flushed, handing Connor the medicine and some clothes.
For someone who’d never been in a relationship, buying these items was deeply embarrassing.
The island’s pharmacy had all the basics, including some items for intimate situations. When Moss bought the medicine, the clerk even gave him a knowing look and advised him to take it easy.
