Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 719

"Charlie, you got a 75? Not bad at all!" Charlie's cousin exclaimed with joy, spotting his name on the list.

Charlie felt a rush of excitement too. Although the score wasn't stellar, it was quite an achievement for him. Given the test's difficulty, combined with the curve grading and competitive scoring, many had only managed scores in the sixties. Scoring in the seventies was considered above average.

"An 81, pretty decent," his cousin remarked a few seconds later, noticing his own score and clicking his tongue. An 81 was about par for him.

However—

Curiosity got the better of him as he glanced over at Flora. Her score hadn't appeared yet. Those scoring above 80 had already been listed, but Flora's name was still missing.

"Flora, you're so modest, saying even 70 would be tough. I bet you could easily score above 85," someone commented.

"Ha! I think so too. You're definitely a shoo-in for the National Medical School," another chimed in.

"Our Flora is all about keeping a low profile. Even when she aces it, she wouldn't brag, unlike some who can't even pass and still mock others," they said, taking a jab while congratulating Flora.

The man who scored 53: "…"

He felt like someone had stabbed him in the chest!

Flora, being the national top scorer and a winner in medical competitions, scoring above 80 was expected. That was the level she was supposed to be at. If she couldn't even hit eighty, like she modestly suggested, that would have been a real letdown.

Everyone guessed Flora's score would be between 80 and 90.

But—

Still no sign.

Her name hadn't appeared yet.

With only a few scoring above 80, the list quickly moved on to those scoring above 90. Flora's name hadn’t shown up yet, indicating her score was definitely above ninety.
