Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 804

After all, she was just a young woman, and it made perfect sense she didn't want to hang out with a bunch of old-timers like them.

"Hey, Flora, sweetheart, how'd you feel about teaching at the Medical Academy?" Kruiz asked, throwing a new idea into the mix.

Teaching at the Medical Academy?! Are you kidding me?

The entire crowd's eyes went wide, thinking they might be hearing things. They'd all been busting their backs in competition just for a shot at joining the Medical Academy. And here was Flora, being offered a teaching position on a silver platter!

"Hold on, Kruiz, isn't this a bit much?" a staff member murmured, a bit unsure.

Having Flora as a teacher seemed kind of outrageous.

"What's so outrageous about it? Can any of you craft these medical formulas? Can you?" Kruiz shot back confidently.

Flora had the chops; why shouldn't she go for it? With her skills, she'd be a gem anywhere she went!

"But she's only nineteen..."

"Exactly, just nineteen!" Kruiz said with a mix of pride and exasperation. "These days, a nineteen-year-old can be this outstanding. My grandson is twenty-three, and he can't hold a candle to her."

The staff member thought, "That's not quite what I meant..."

"Flora, dear, I'm dead serious," Kruiz continued earnestly. "You've got the talent. There's nothing stopping you from becoming a professor. Don't let your age hold you back. Remember, 'Great things often come from the young.'"

"Come on, trust me; the Medical Academy is a blast. There are loads of students your age, and you could be their teacher. Doesn't that just get you pumped?"

Kruiz rubbed his hands together, his eyes behind his glasses narrowing into slits.

His smile was a bit too cunning, almost like he was trying to lure her into some sketchy deal.

The crowd couldn't help but smirk, surprised to see this playful side of the usually serious Kruiz.
