Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 838

It was a pity about her hot sauce.

Kruz was not thrilled. "Couldn't it have been you who let it slip by accident?"

"Are you doubting me?" Flora shot him a sideways glance.

That one look was enough to make Kruz back down.

He whimpered.

He didn't dare to argue any further.

He felt so small! Flora was being a bit much!

But considering Flora was still recovering, he decided to let it go.

"Kruz, what are you hiding? How could you bring Flora hot sauce!" Ethan scolded, glaring at him. "Don’t you know Flora can't handle spicy food right now?"

"I'm innocent! Flora wanted it, so I brought it for her! Besides, Flora's a doctor; she knows what she can eat."

And honestly, it's just a bit of spice, not the end of the world...

"So just because Flora wants it, you bring it to her? Where are your principles and basic judgment!"

Ethan was still giving him the evil eye, but when he turned to Flora, his tone softened. "Flora, be good, you need to stick to bland food for now."

Flora leaned back on her pillow, eyeing him. "Do you know how hard it is to give up spicy food when you're used to it?"

Actually, it wasn't all that hard. Connor always whipped up delicious meals for her, and they were top-notch.

But still, being pampered and not allowed to have a little fun?

Seeing her looking genuinely pitiful, Ethan started to waver. He peeked at the door to ensure Connor wasn't around, then whispered, "Alright, just a little bit. I'll go grab some for you now."

If Flora wanted it, why not let her have it?

Plus, the big oaf was right; Flora knew her own body well enough.

Kruz's mouth twitched with disbelief.

Sister, do you remember what you just said?

Where are your principles?

Your judgment?
