Flora skimmed through the messages with an unreadable face and replied, "He called me a nobody."
Just those two words.
He didn’t even get them out before she had him on the ground. But she clearly saw his mouth form the words.
---
“Damn it!”
Miles away, a big guy read the message and lost it. The guy next to him, munching on chips, was so startled he dropped them.
“Get Riley on the phone,” the big guy growled, grinding his teeth in anger, “Tell him he’s out of the club! If he dares to misuse the TM Club’s name again, I’ll break his arms!”
“And tell him to apologize to my ancestors!”
“Who does he think he is, insulting the president like that? Get me a plane, I’m heading to Lone Island right now! Let’s see how he likes it!”
---
After dinner, Flora headed back to her villa, choosing not to drop by the Reyes family. She was still fuming, and the issue with the Reyes family’s racing team could wait. Things were a mess there anyway.
Adrian had arranged for someone to look after Riley’s injuries. He was in bad shape, with a broken rib. He needed to be in bed for a couple of days.
“Riley, you take it easy. We’ll handle the training ourselves for the next few days,” Adrian said coolly.
“You’re just gonna let it go like that?” Riley fumed, “She beat me up like this, and you’re just gonna let it slide?”
Adrian almost said it was his own fault. He had seen the shape of those words too. Who's to blame for a foul mouth?
“Adrian, if you still want me coaching, that Flora better come apologize!”
