Chapter 239
An hour later we stop off the plane, the guards following us. I see Dante standing with the brothers. A mass amount of cars behind them as we walk towards them. I look at D and he sands holding a dagger in each hand.
“D, put them away. They don’t have weapons out.” We can’t afford him to flip with a dagger in his hand. He grunts calling me some unsavoury names before placing them away.
“Calix.” Dante nods to him. “We have cars for your guards, you and your brothers will join us and we will discuss the plan.” I can see he is worried. Calix simply nods, no doubt trying not to take because that means he will scream. We follow them and get in the car.
“I apologise for this Calix. Our guard on the border didn’t stand a chance, they shot him, and left one of their men there to make it look like everything was fine. Had we known they would have been stopped at the border.”
“Dante, it’s fine,” I reply as Calix just stares at him. We don’t need more drama right now.
“Okay, so here are the blueprints for the building they are in. I got one of my newest guards to go to the Coppola family, they hired him so we have someone inside. He’s walking the building so hopefully he will give us a room Daisy is in soon.” I watch as he lays out the blueprints.

“From what we know so far, there are over 30 men on the main floor. Five on each door, outside there are another twenty men. I have snipers ready at surrounding buildings to clear outside the house, the towers and such. It isn’t a normal house.”
“What do you mean it isn’t a normal house?”
“The wall surrounding it is over fifteen feet tall. Hence the rocket launchers. Then there are watch towers, each one has a guy on watching out. I learnt though they aren’t snipers or trained. So they won’t be checking buildings right. The house was built to protect the family, it’s the safe house they barely needed.” Dante explains and I nod.
“At least I get to blow some shit up.” D laughs and I roll my eyes.

“Not the building D, she’s in the building.” I don’t want the grenade fine, but aiming a rocket launcher at the house isn’t the best idea.
“So the plan is, snipers remove those in the towers. We get a few over the walls. Gunner you’re one of them, if we can take down the
guys outside without them knowing, then those inside won’t be ready for us,”
“I’m going over.” I hear D and Dante nods not arguing with him, no doubt because he knows D is like Gunner and they don’t listen. Well, not to us anyway, Daisy and Emmi yes, but us, we’re powerless with

them.
“Once we get them all down outside, those who jumped the walls move to the doors and wait, we blow up the walls so we can get in easier, that will give them no time to plan us coming in as they will still think there is guys outside.” Dante keeps going on explaining the plan. Calix just sits quietly and I nudge him. He needs to be here.
“I apologise for how I acted on the phone,” Calix speaks quietly and Dante laughs.
“Calix, if it had been the other way around I would have been worse, so don’t worry about it. I didn’t take your cold ass attitude as a threat or a sign of war. I took it as a man who is ready to kill everyone to get back his woman. Which we will. You said something about a video?” Dante looks at us now.
“It’s barely a video, fifteen seconds showing Daisy’s parents hurting Evalyn, it will prove to the Coppola family it wasn’t us. They still die, but is clears our name.”
“Okay, well I heard from my guy, Mr Coppolla is there. Apparently his name is Nathan and he knows Daisy.”
We all look towards him then confused.
“All I know is my guy was outside listening. Apparently Daisy called him uncle Nathan, so I assume Evalyn’s husband?”

“It makes no sense, if her parents knew them, why did they need to sell Daisy for money?” The Copolla family have money.
“Something to ask her parents, they are there as well.” Dante sends pictures to our phone. I look through them. I can’t see Daisy in any but I can see her parents. Mr Copolla who is apparently her uncle, I stop seeing Dean and Richard.
“Apparently they want info on you guys. The last thing he heard before he was forced to move away from the room was her laughing and taunting Nathan and him giving her to someone telling them not to kill her yet,” Dante speaks, not taking his eyes off the phone.
“Dean and Richard.” I turn and look at Calix. “Even I wouldn’t fucking care if she spoke having to face them. We save her anyway but they will have everything then because theres no way she won’t speak.”
I mean, I agree, I wouldn’t blame her if she did, but she won’t.
“Cal, give her a chance. She isn’t weak, she went through it all with Richard and Dean many times, she won’t give in.” I know she won’t, I hope she doesn’t.
“Anyway, no men get out alive. Once we clear the house, you take Daisy out and keep her safe, ensure she is okay, we will clear the city of any of the Copolla family, none of them will be left, and any of their wives or children will be deported.” Dante says it like it’s simple and D glares at him.
Chapter 239
“I’m not walking away until everyone is dead.” Of course he isn’t.
“Okay, well Calix, your idea on the way forward once we have Daisy?” Dante looks at him, clearly not wanting to start an argument with D.
“We all go, we all stay until the house is cleared. One or two of us will stay in this city with Daisy, get her any medical help she needs, the others will go with you around the city and clear them out. We can’t just walk away after getting her, people will think we needed you guys and I would rather it be seen as us coming together to defeat a threat and clear up rather than just you.” Calix points out and he’s right. If we run after and the Wolversons hunts down the rest, people in our city will think we’re weak.
“Okay, Emmi is at our old place. Go there. I have guards there watching her. So take Daisy there, I will make sure a doctor is there should they be needed. You can take some of your own guards as well if you want? It’s safer than a hotel.” He looks at us and Calix nods.
