Chapter 128
Arrogant.
Leonard’s demeanor at that moment exuded just one word.
Faced with being surrounded, he casually lit a cigarette, ignoring the wealthy bodyguards closing in on him.
And just as the bodyguards were about to apprehend Leonard, on the other side, Yohan Marlow, the head of the Marlow family, and Daniel Flores, the head of the Flores family, rushed toward their sons.
Seeing the sorry state of their sons, their eyes instantly turned red.
“Make sure this little brat pays for it,” Daniel howled in fury.
It was clear he was furious at this point.
Leonard flicked the cigarette butt from his hand, letting it fall to the ground, and crushed it underfoot. Then, he stepped forward and sent one bodyguard tumbling with a single palm strike.
With the agility of a tiger, he charged into the midst of the crowd, ready to fight.
Meanwhile, a middle–aged man was standing at the back of the bodyguard group.
Witnessing Leonard’s swift moves, his eyebrows raised ever so slightly.
The bodyguard had seen his fair share of battles, but Leonard had easily brought him down.
Such strength was undeniably powerful and efficiently executed.
After taking down two bodyguards with consecutive punches, Leonard grabbed a bodyguard by his long hair and yanked hard, then drove his knee upward.
With a loud thud, the opponent’s nasal bone shattered, and he collapsed to the ground.
In the blink of an eye, four men were down, causing the remaining bodyguards to look at Leonard with wariness. They no longer rashly charged forward but clenched their fists, circled Leonard cautiously, and searched for an opportunity.
“Young man, your martial arts skills are impressive. May I ask who your master is?”
At this moment, the middle–aged man from the back approached, displaying a hint of curiosity.
It was evident that Leonard’s prowess had piqued his interest.
However, he didn’t believe that Leonard had the right to stir up trouble with just this level of skill.
Having roamed the martial world for so many years, he had encountered all sorts of formidable practitioners and wasn’t inclined to regard Leonard, a young newcomer, too highly.
“You’re not worthy of knowing my master’s name,” Leonard said as he smirked disdainfully.
“You’re quite bold,” the middle–aged man replied, unfazed. He promptly removed his suit jacket, unbuttoned the collar and cuffs of his shirt, and stretched his limbs.
Seeing that the middle–aged man was about to make a move, the other bodyguards tactfully stepped aside, clearing the battlefield for the two.
*Kid, three moves, at most three, and I’ll have you on the ground. Do you believe that?” The middle–aged man’s face displayed confidence.
Those who had never sparred with him had no idea how terrifying he could be.
However, Leonard extended a finger and said, “I only need one move to defeat you.”
The middle–aged man was momentarily taken aback. “What did you say?”
“I said I can defeat you with just one move,” Leonard repeated.
Hearing Leonard’s words, the people around couldn’t help but laugh.
Leonard was undeniably strong, which they had realized, considering how easily he had taken down several bodyguards.
But to defeat the middle–aged man with just one move? That was quite a joke.
The middle–aged man was Edwards Dixon, Yohan’s bodyguard, and had a renowned reputation in the martial arts circle of Imperial City.
“This kid is really arrogant!” commented one of the bodyguards.
Another joined in, saying, “Ignorance is bliss! He actually claims to defeat Mr. Dixon with just one move. It’s laughable.”
Yet another chimed in. “Mr. Dixon is a real powerhouse. I once saw him split a millstone in half with a single palm strike.”

Another said, “Once Mr. Dixon makes his move, he’ll realize just how big of a difference they are.”
Even Edward couldn’t help but chuckle, “I thought you had some skill when I first saw you, which is why I considered making a move. But I never expected you to be this arrogant.
“Some people can’t tell their left from right in martial arts and underestimate others. Someone like you, no matter how talented you are, your achievements will always be limited.”
“Why bother talking to him, Mr. Dixon?” shouted one of the bodyguards from the sidelines.
“Since he dares to boast shamelessly, Mr. Dixon, you should show him that there’s always someone better and there are limits to what one can achieve.”
“Exactly, give this kid a lesson he won’t forget.”
The crowd began to clamor.
Edward nodded and took a deep breath.
At that instant, it gave the impression that his body had grown several inches taller.
Then, Edward took three consecutive steps forward.
With each step he took, the concrete ground beneath him was left with a large hole.
Leveraging this power, Edward instantly closed the distance like a speeding bullet.
Simultaneously, he thrust his fist forward, creating a powerful gust of wind.
“What a powerful punch.”
The numerous bodyguards surrounding him were well aware of Edward’s strength, yet they couldn’t help but be astonished at this moment.
Such a punch could probably kill a bull on the spot.
The punch was unyielding and destructive.
Even a few of the wealthy elites couldn’t help but gasp.
