Chapter 15
The car returned to the city all the way and drove into Shoal Manor.
After getting out of the car, Marianna couldn’t help but be shocked.
This was the best villa in Newden City. It cost at least 60 million dollars.
Leonard opened the door of the villa and walked in.
Mariama followed closely behind.
I live on the third floor. You can choose any of the other rooms. If you’re hungry, there’s food in the refrigerator.” After finishing speaking, Leonard walked up the stairs directly.
Looking at the empty villa, Marianna couldn’t help but think when she heard Leonard’s footsteps upstairs. He lived in the most luxurious villa in Newlen City and had exclusive subordinates. Leonard’s martial arts were so good that even a gun couldn’t hurt him. What was Leonard’s real identity?
Leonard was hiding behind a fog that no one could see through.
He said that he just got out of prison. Would an influential person like him also be imprisoned?
As far as Marianna knew, families with power and wealth were almost exempt from prison unless they committed a grave
crime.
The experience tonight was so exciting that Marianna didn’t feel sleepy.
She poured herself a gla** of water and sat down on the sofa.
Then she saw a letter placed on the coffee table.
The letter was Leonard’s personal belongings. Marianna shouldn’t have read it. But out of curiosity about Leonard, she opened the envelope.
Then she saw the big words of “Letter of Employment.”
“Eagles Corps sincerely invites Mr. Leonard Santos to serve as the chief instructor…”
Eagles Corps was one of the most mysterious special forces in Griffinland.
After seeing the words in the letter, Marianna’s eyes were filled with disbelief.
She heard her father talk about Eagles Corps.
It was said that each of them was as powerful as a king of soldiers. They were legends. But now they wanted to hire Leonard as the chief instructor,
What was an instructor? It was the man who taught those people fighting skills.
Leonard was insane!
Marianna put the Letter of Employment back into the envelope, feeling uneasy.
Then she walked into the bedroom and lay down on the bed.
Half an hour later, Marianna turned over.
An hour later, she turned over again.
Two hours later, she was still awake.
Marianna couldn’t sleep. She was thinking about Leonard and today’s events. She was totally awake. In the dawn, she finally fell asleep in a daze.
But after sleeping for less than an hour, she heard a loud noise and was woken up.
Rubbing her sleepy eyes, Marianna walked along the sound.
In the gymnasium in the basement, Leonard was boxing at a plodding speed. Even an old lady moved faster than him. But the whole building seemed to shake when his foot landed on the ground.
The seemingly weak movements contained terrifying power.
At this time, Leonard had just finished one round. He took a deep breath and pressed his hands to his belly. His breath was like a sharp arrow coming out of his mouth. The sound of whistling resounded in the air.
Marianna was stunned.
