Chapter 21
“What?”
Leonard looked at Marianna in astonishment.
Marianna was blushing at the moment. Her former grace and self–confidence completely disappeared. She was even afraid to look Leonard directly in the eyes, so she just lowered her head and continued to eat.
After the meal, Marianna added Leonard on WhatsApp and gave him her phone number, but she didn’t leave with Leonard. “My friend is also in this restaurant, so I will go to her first” Marianna said.
“Okay. Then I’m leaving first”
Leonard took out a tissue and wiped his mouth.
For him, this meal was much more pleasant than the one he had at his aunt’s home
Walking out of the box, Leonard couldn’t help but look up in the direction of the stairs on the second floor.
He felt that someone was watching him secretly when he came in.
However, he didn’t feel any hostility. He thought it should be the friend Marianna had mentioned.
Without caring about it, he walked outside.
On the other side, the beautiful woman standing on the stairs couldn’t help but pat her chest.
“Sure enough, this man has such keen observation skills, just like what Marianna said. I hid myself so secretly, but he still noticed me,” she thought.
At this moment, Marianna came up.
“Eileen, how is it? Is Leonard handsome?”
Eileen Wolff’ shook her head and said, “I don’t think he’s handsome, but this man is indeed a bit dangerous. And have you ever thought that maybe he approached you deliberately?”
“It’s impossible.”
Marianna shook her head directly.
“My coming to Newden City was a spur of the moment. Leonard couldn’t arrange all this in advance.”
Eileen sighed.
“Even so, you are not suitable for him. He may have some power in Newden City, but your family is different from other families. He still doesn’t deserve you, even though he’s from the most prominent power in Newden City. And you may make him suffer if you are with him.”
Hearing this, Marianna’s face turned pale slightly.
But soon, she said firmly, “I’m going to chase my happiness. And I can leave the Rodgers family for him.”
“You…”
Eileen looked at Marianna helplessly and finally sighed.
She kindly advised her, “Marianna, there are many good men in those noble families, so you don’t need to entrust your happiness to him just because he saved you once. Maybe you are just impulsive now, but you will understand in the future that it is very important to be with someone of equal status…”
When Leonard walked out of the restaurant, he saw an off–road vehicle driving away.
And Gracia was waving at the off–road vehicle. She should have just sent Arlene away.
When she turned her head and saw Leonard, she was stunned.
“Mr. Santos, you are here.”
“Yeah,” Leonard nodded. “I heard that the company is in a little trouble.”
“Yes.”
Gracia hurriedly added, “But don’t worry, I will solve this matter quickly. And the progress of the project will not be delayed.”
Gracia was a very strong woman, and she was afraid that she would leave Leonard with an image of her incompetence because of this matter.
“It’s okay. I’ll go with

“Okay”
Gracia nodded.
“Then I’m leaving first, Leonard, Gracia said.
Arlene left her a master’s phone number and address, and she was still in a hurry to visit him.
After all, she would go negotiating with Bellamy Group tomorrow.
Seeing that Gracia was about to leave, Leonard hurriedly said, “Wait a minute… Can you drive me home first?”
“Oh, sure”
Gracia nodded.
When Marianna and Eileen walked out of the restaurant, they happened to see Leonard leaving in Gracia’s car.
“Isn’t that your special man?”
Eileen deliberately said, “It seems that he is a ladies‘ man.”
Marianna nodded in full agreement. “It seems that I have to hurry up. Otherwise, he will be sna tched away by others.”
Eileen was a little helpless.
She thought Marianna was crazy. As the daughter of the Rodgers family, she was actually so obsessed with a man.
If those guys in the circle knew about it, they would be shocked.
