From Contract To All My Life: I Own You novel Chapter 15

"No. thirty-two, Jimmy and Joy!"

When the registry staff called out their names, Jimmy stood up and took Joy's hand to the window.

"Are you willing to get married?"

The staff asked politely.

"Of course!"

Jimmy's face darkened. He was not satisfied with the question.

The young staff probably had never seen the bridegroom lose his temper on their wedding day. He was a little surprised, but he had to admit that the man in front of him was still handsome even if he was angry.

Joy couldn't help but burst into laughter. She tugged at his sleeve secretly.

"He is just doing his job. You're scaring him."

The black car was blocked at the traffic light intersection in the morning. Joy raised her hand and looked at the time. It was nine twenty. There were still ten minutes left before she clocked in.

"It's not far from my company. I'll get off and walk there."

Joy opened the door and jumped out.

Jimmy called her but she didn't say yes. Looking at the two marriage certificates in front of him, a sudden emotion crossed his heart, which was unpredictable.

Joy clocked in at the last minute, but the atmosphere in the editing department was particularly depressing today.

Everyone lowered their heads and did their own jobs, not as usual.

After putting the things away, Joy knocked on Amy's table and asked in a low voice, "What happened?"

Amy looked up at Joy, ignored her and took the file to copy.

The woman in red, who was sitting in front of Amy, turned her head and gossiped, "The princess of Gong Group came to our editor, intending to purchase the news express to expand the entertainment field that is suitable for reading. Tell me, how powerful is the Gong Group? Why does it suddenly want to purchase a small newspaper like ours?"

The Gong Group? Maggie?

Joy had a bad feeling. She took a document and was about to go to the editor's office.

"Aren't you waiting for punishing?"

Hebe couldn't help reminding her.

After thinking for a while, Joy went to knock on the door.

"Come in."

The voice was full of anger through the office door.

Joy plucked up her courage to push the door open.

Wearing a red tight skirt, Maggie looked particularly sexy. At this moment, she was sitting opposite to her chief editor, with her arms crossed over her chest, and proudly admiring the expression on editor's face.

There was a thin layer of sweat on editor's bald forehead, and he looked very embarrassed.

It seemed that Maggie had the upper hand in the negotiation between them.

"Boss, here is the document you want."

Joy handed the document to her chief editor, Adam.

Adam was a little stunned. He didn't ask for any document.

Then he understood and took the document with a smile. He pointed to the seat next to Joy and said, "Joy, come and sit."

Joy sat down as he said.
