From Contract To All My Life: I Own You novel Chapter 4

At this moment, Joy had an impulse to throw Jimmy into the sea to feed the fish. She endured it and forced herself to face it calmly.

"Mr. Go, let's talk about something, okay? That thing belongs to me. Even if you save me, you can't take it all, right? How about we split it, half share of each other? I don't mind."

"I mind!"

Jimmy put on a fake smile and dialed the number of the security department, "Security department? Come and get this lady out of my office."

After a while, two uniformed security guards came up, one on the left and the other on the right, held the arms of Joy and dragged her out of Jimmy's office.

"Jimmy, jerk, you are so mean!"

Ronald, who just came in to deliver the documents, heard that and slipped and almost fell down.

"Who is that girl?"

Ronald asked Jimmy curiously.

But Jimmy just smiled and said nothing.

"Is she..."

Jimmy interrupted Ronald before Ronald could finish his words.

"What do you think of her being my fiancée?"

"Are you kidding me?" Ronald asked as if he had eaten a fly.

Jimmy raised his eyebrows, "Do you think I'm joking?"

"But she is not..."

"I know! Go and check where she lives."

Jimmy's words were always irrefutable, so Ronald had to listen to him.

In the bottom of her heart, Joy had cursed Jimmy many times. As soon as she approached her home, she saw several members of the residential committee were showing a group of people in suits around this tube shaped building.

"Aunt Clair, what are you doing?"

As Joy came from a special family, the members of the residential committee often came to visit her, so they were very familiar with each other.

Seeing Joy, Aunt Clair looked evasive, but finally told her, "The developer's plot is about to be demolished."

Hearing this, Joy felt like falling into an ice cave.

"Aunt, is there any other way?"

"I heard that it was contracted by the Go Group. As you know, the Go Group is rich and the compensation is quite generous. There is no reason not to refuse it."

Aunt Clair said in an awkward tone.

The Go Group again! 'Jimmy is really so terrible!', Joy thought.

At night, the family gathered around the table to have dinner. After taking a little, Sean stared at Joy with his big eyes and asked, "Sister, I heard that our building is going to be demolished. Will we go out to rent a house then?"

Taking a look at Jay's face, Joy answered cautiously, "I'll find a house in advance. Don't worry."

"I won't move out." After saying that, Jay pushed the wheelchair into the room.

Joy had checked many houses on the Internet, but most of them were expensive. The boss of the newspaper she worked for had the intention of reducing the staff.

"I just got the news that the police are going to ambush the Taxing Gang at the dock. Who of you will go to the scene to report?"

The bald editor stood in the room and clapped his hands.

Everyone shook their heads in tacit agreement.

"What about eight hundred dollars for each person?"

Everyone shook head again.

Are you kidding me? Eight hundred is worth to using my life to take photos? Anyone who offended the Taxing Gang would have a miserable ending.

At this moment, a slender hand raised weakly.
