Chapter 36
“What is going on?! Chloe thought. Her expression shifted in confusion as she, along with everyone else, looked at Tessa in bewilderment. Under the weight of those gazes, Tessa suddenly recalled something important.
She shyly nibbled on her lip, showing a hint of pride in her voice as she asked, “Could you all please move aside a little? Mr. Harrison is here to drop off some files for me. I was going to grab them myself, but then the live stream started, so I had to trouble Mr. Harrison to come by personally.”
‘So that’s it. Andrew isn’t here for Natalie; he came for Tessal This is a serious blow to Natalie since Andrew’s presence has nothing to do with her, He’s delivering files, people thought. When they saw the folder Andrew was holding, their suspicions turned into solid belief.
“Natalie has really overplayed her hand this time and completely flipped the script!’ they thought. In an instant, the comments section was flooded with laughter and sarcastic remarks aimed at Natalie. Those present didn’t say anything out loud, but their mocking glances at her were more than enough to convey their thoughts.
Andrew didn’t notice their teasing stares. He walked through the crowd and approached Tessa with a serious tone, “Ms. Simpson, please fill out the forms and bring them with you for the second interview.”
Chloe, finally coming out of her shock, let out a sigh of relief. She was scared to death. For a moment, she thought Andrew had been called here by Natalie. She thought, ‘How could she have such influence?
Chloe shot a glance at Natalie, who was casually sipping her coffee, entirely unfazed. Is she seriously that thick-skinned? The situation has spiraled out of control, and here Natalie is, still enjoying her drink, completely lacking any sense of shame
Her eyes narrowed with intention. She let out a light sneer and stepped up to Andrew, “Mr. Harrison, you came at the right time. We have someone here who was just boasting about knowing you and claimed that you would bow to her if you saw her-”
“Sorry.” Andrew cut her off, his handsome face showing a hint of urgency. “Could you tell me which room Ms. Xavier is in?
Chloe’s eyes widened in disbelief, asking, “What?”
“What is happening?! Did I hear that right? Why is Andrew asking about Natalie? Chloe thought. Not only Chloe but also the viewers in the livestream, who were lambasting Natalie, were totally stunned.
Tessa smiled and decided to intervene. “Mr. Harrison, don’t blame Ms. Xavier. She was just trying to save face by lying about knowing you”
Andrew looked at her, confused. “What are you talking about? I actually know her. She called me just now to come over, but I forgot to ask which room she was in. You guys are all contestants from Sweet Love, right? You should know.”
“What? Did Andrew just imply that they really knew each other? people thought. The atmosphere fell silent. Just then, a lazy female voice interrupted, “Over here.”
Andrew paused, scanning the area before moving past Chloe, finally spotting Natalie lounging with her legs crossed.
She wore a snowy white dress, and her curly hair framed her face beautifully, making her look even more radiant. With a slightly raised eyebrow, she looked at him with a smirk. Andrew felt his heart **p a beat, quickly striding over. In front of everyone, he gave a sincere 90-degree bow. “Ms. Xavier! he greeted her.
Natalie glanced around, appearing nonchalant.
But even with that dismissive attitude, the usually aloof Andrew was unusually warm and proactive. “Ms. Xavier, I was honored to receive your call today; I thought I was dreaming! Do you want to tell me something? Just say the word. I can do anything

He barely managed to finish his sentence before Natalie, holding her coffee, paused for a moment. Understanding her cue, he instantly stepped up, full of respect.
Natalie clearly was used to his flattery. She got straight to the point. “So, have we decided on the endorser of the boxing promotion!”
“No, not yet. Andrew shook his head repeatedly, asking as if forgetting they were in a crowded room, “Have you decided to be our endorser, Ms. Xavier?”
Natalie maintained her nonchalant attitude and answered, “Yes.”
Andrew’s e
s eyes lit up. That’s awesome! I heard your master Mr. Graham, invited you earlier, but you turned it down because it was too much trouble. If he learns that you’re on board now, he’ll be thrilled!”
In just a few sentences, everyone understood the whole situation. Apparently, Natalie hadn’t lied; the Greton Boxing Association really did invite her, and she truly had refused.
But the most important revelation was that Natalie was the disciple of the legendary boxing master, Christian.
“Who cares if he’s happy or not. Natalie shrugged nonchalantly and asked, “By the way, what did you bring for Tessa?”
Andrew snapped back to reality and walked over to Tessa. “Ms. Simpson, we’ve already secured our endorser, so you don’t need to fill out that paperwork anymore. Sorry about the confusion.”
Natalie let out a light laugh, not even glancing at Tessa, as she turned back to Andrew to chat about the endorsement.
In the packed room, their conversation drowned out everything else. In no time, the tables had turned, and it felt like the most dramatic plot twist ever.
Just a moment ago, Natalie’s fans had hesitated to react due to uncertainty about Andrew’s arrival, afraid of being embarrassed if things didn’t go well.
But now, the truth spoke volumes. Their beloved Natalie didn’t let them down. One by one, her supporters flooded the stream with excited messages.

[Nat is incredible! She’s the only female disciple of Mr. Graham! What a surprise!]
[No wonder Nat’s boxing skills are top-notch!)
[OMG, she’s got the talent a wealth. Can she leave some opportunities for the rest of us?]
[To the one who said they’d be Nat’s lackey, how about you come out and take a bow now!]
[And to the one who said they’d shoot themselves, time to fulfill your promise!]
[Where are Tessa’s fans? Too embarrassed to show up?]
[Tessa thought she could compete with Nat, but it turned out she got the chance only because Nat rejected the invitation.]
Tessa was staring at the livestream screen, seeing every single comment. Her eyes burned with anger, her body trembling. “Natalie is definitely doing this on purpose. I haven’t done anything wrong. Why is Natalie repeatedly making me look bad?” she thought.
“First, the awkward dance-off, then the public rejection of my offer, and now this embarrassing stunt! The more Tessa thought about it, the more upset she became. Her lips pressed into a downturned pout, finally unable to hold back her whimpers.
