Henry was still mad at Darren.
She was such a great wife. All these over 800 guys treasured her, but Darren was too blind to see how good she was and wanted a divorce.
So when he heard Darren’s question, Henry snapped, “I’m picking a boyfriend for Natalic. What’s it to you?”
Darren frowned at this.
The next second, he walked over and stood behind the couch, looking down at the phones in their hands.
Henry glared at him. “What are you doing? Your girlfriend’s helping out in the kitchen. Go on. Get out of our way.”
Darren’s expression didn’t change. “I need to help with that. She’s always had a bad taste
in men.
Natalie laughed and raised an eyebrow. “If you want to insult yourself like that, I don’t mind.”
Darren was at a loss for words.
Henry instigated it further, “Natalie, let’s ignore this divorced jerk. He’s in the past. The other guys are better and more appealing, right? Come on. Have those folks in the group chat send their photos. I have to make sure you get the right guy.”
Natalie then sent a message in the group chat.
Queen Natalie: [everyone, send a selfie of yourself here. If you don’t have one, take one now.]
Darren witnessed everything, and his mouth twitched.
Her tone sounded like she was picking a concubine like an emperor. He was shocked when he saw the number of people in the group chat.
He remembered when he first joined the group, there were just over 300 people. Now, in less than half a month, it had grown to 800. Darren thought, ‘Where did Natalie find so many men? Hold on. Do these men just willingly let themselves be brainwashed to be her backups? Don’t they have any self-respect?’
Darren glanced at Natalie’s phone screen as he heard constant ringtones while he was

Before she spoke, the group chat was very quiet.
When she tagged everyone, they all showed themselves.
251. [My treasure, you finally showed up. Boohoo, I’m so sad you went out with another man today. I need your kiss to feel better.]
Seeing this. Darren got angry and immediately said, “Kick this person out. He’s too cheeky. How disgusting! Natalie, don’t tell me you fall for this.”
Natalie rolled her eyes. “You don’t get it, do you? This is called being cute and playful. He’s like a little puppy.
“Ha, he’s not even human. Are you planning an interspecies romantic relationship?” Darren said.
Natalie was so shocked and then explained, “Nowadays, a little puppy means someone young and clingy…”
I don’t wanna hear it, Darren cut her off. “It’s just not okay.”
Natalie forced a smile. “I think it’s fine.”
Henry glanced at Darren and noticed his expression before saying, “I think he’s great. A clingy guy is much better than someone who always has a cold face.”
Natalie felt glad now. “Grandpa Henry, let’s keep looking. There are a lot of photos.”
88: [Natalie, mwah.]
309: [Babe, babe, how about this cool young guy? I am strong enough to carry you in my arms anytime you want.]
111: [Babe, what do you suddenly need photos for? Are we picking someone to sleep with tonight? If so, I gotta shout: Pick me.]
696: [Babe, wouldn’t it be great to pick me? I can use a smartphone and take care of myself. I fix something to eat when I get hungry and know to come home when I am outside and it rains.]
734: [Babe, look at me. Pick me! Pick me! I’m so cute. You just have to choose me.]
Natalie clicked the photos one by one and asked Henry, “Grandpa Henry, do anyone is okay?”

“Contestant #309 mentioned holding you. Is it difficult to hold you? Any man can do that. What’s there to brag about? And he looks so ugly. Eliminate him.”
Natalie was speechless. Contestant #309 actually had a handsome, classical look with elegant features, How could Darren describe him as ugly?
But Darren continued, “Contestant #111’s lips are too thin. These kinds of people are good at sweet-talking and thinking about nasty things. That’s lowly. Eliminate him. “Contestant #696 doesn’t look quite right. He looks like a gigolo. Eliminate him. “About Contestant #734, isn’t it embarrassing for a grown man to act cute? Why haven’t you kicked him out already? Are you planning to keep him for Christmas?”
After Darren finished his rant, he looked at her with disdain, “Natalie, the men
chat are ugly in different ways. You’ve got terrible taste.”

Natalie smiled faintly. She beckoned him with a finger. “Come here.”
Darren frowned but walked over. “What do you want?”

Natalie continued scrolling through the chat history, opening photos one by one. After looking at around four or five photos, she asked him, “Do you think any of these guys look good?”
Darren looked at the young, handsome men, thinking they all looked like seductive women trying to charm a king, and the more he looked, the more annoyed he got.
He pressed his lips together before asking, “Why do you ask me? I’m choosing a boyfriend.”
Natalie glanced at him with a hint of sarcasm. “Oh, you know that? Then why did you comment on them earlier?”
“I…” Darren was both amused and annoyed by her retort, correcting her, “I was just offering a suggestion.”
Natalie shot him a disdainful look. “Is that what you call a suggestion? That was a personal attack. Judgy guys like you are the worst.”
Henry, listening to their bickering, finally found an opportunity to chime in, “Yeah. Natalie’s right. Guys like that are the worst. So petty.”

Chapter 84
Darren thought dejectedly, ‘Is this really my grandfather?”
Henry glanced at Darren, who remained silent, and he turned to Natalie and said, “I know some young, promising men. Do you want me to set you up?”
Natalie’s eyes lit up immediately. “Are they handsome?”
Just as Henry was about to speak, Darren interrupted, “Natalic, you are so shallow. Can a handsome guy put food on the table?”
“Not your business,” Natalie retorted, obviously annoyed. “I’m not short of food, so buzz off. Don’t obstruct my search for new love.”
Darren’s eyes darkened a bit, and he casually sn**d her phone. When he saw Natalie’s furious little face, he raised an eyebrow. “It’s time to eat.”
“Give me my phone.” Natalie reached out her hand towards him.
Darren held the phone above his head. “I’ll after you finish eating.”
“Let’s just eat,” Henry interjected, trying to diffuse the situation. “Natalie, don’t worry. We’ll work on it after dinner. I’ll introduce some more men to you.”
“OK,” Natalie agreed.
Henry continued nonchalantly, “You can pick a decent one among them to be Rafael’s stepdad.”
Natalie agreed wholeheartedly, “We need to prioritize this. Rafael is growing up so fast. We need to find him a stepdad soon. He can’t grow up without a father’s love.”
The two of them kept talking as they walked past him. Darren’s face darkened. He wasn’t even dead yet, and they were already talking about finding a stepdad for his son.
