From Hell To Heaven novel Chapter 66

Akash POV

***********

I opened my eyes and looked to my left side. My angel is sleeping peacefully with a small smile playing on her lips. She looked more relaxed. I gave her a small kiss on her cheek and got up slowly, not wake her up.

After taking a shower, I dried my hair using a towel. All of a sudden, two hands wrapped around my torso. I smiled and turned around to see my angel smiling at me shyly.

"Good morning Angel" I told her.

"Good morning Akash" she hugged me.

"I am so sorry Akash, for shouting at you yesterday. I didn't mean it. I acted strange yesterday. My insecurity blinded me, and I failed to look at the things from your perspective. I am sorry for my rude words."I put my forefinger on her lips.

"Shh angel, you don't have to be sorry. I can understand your feelings" I said and tried to kiss her but suddenly the baby kicked harder.

"Wow! Now I can't even kiss my wife?" I asked and bend down little. I kissed her stomach and angel just laughed.

"Baby, let me just have this one kiss. You know baby. I am missing your mamma very much since the past five months because of you, and I am sure she is missing me just as much. After I get my kiss, you can have your mamma all for yourself" I said.

"So baby, do we have a deal?" I asked and after a moment, I felt another kick in her belly.

"So I will take that as a yes." I grinned, claiming her lips. I kissed her, and the world fell apart. It was slow and soft, comforting in the way that words would never describe it. My hand rested below her ear, my thumb caressing her cheek as our breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down my spine, pulling me closer until there was no space left between us. I could feel the beating at her heart against my chest. Suddenly, I felt another hard kick on her belly. We broke the kiss.

"I think our time is, over" I said, and we laughed.

We went downstairs for breakfast. After eating breakfast, Shanthi maa, angel and I were discussing about the baby shower function.

"Maa, angel, today I invite the saree sales man and the jewellery man to our home. You both can buy whatever you want for the function" I told them, and they nodded at me.

After an hour, the saree sales man and the jewellery man arrived. Angel and maa were selecting their sarees and jewelleries while I was sitting beside them very much irritated because they were selecting their saree since two hours.

"Akash how is this?" Angel asked me to show the Yellow color saree.

"Nice angel" I told her.

"No! I don't want this saree" Saying this she started selecting another saree.

"Why?" I asked her softly.

"Because you didn't say it's beautiful. You simply said it's nice" She pouted sadly. My eyes widened.

Oh god! Please save men from women and their shopping!!

"Akash, how is this saree?" Mom asked me to show pink colour saree.

"This saree would look great on you" I told her.

"Really? I don't think the color suits me." Saying this mom started selecting another saree.

Wow my family is crazy!

I saw the sales man face tired. He looked like he was going to faint if they take any longer.

That's it!

"Maa, Angel! It's enough. How many hours will you both take for selecting a saree?" I asked them annoyed.

"Akash, it's very difficult to select because all the sarees are extremely nice" Angel pouted. If Shanti maa wasn't here, I would have kissed her pout off. She looks so adorable.

"Angel, if you like all the sarees then you can buy all" I told her controlling my inner emotions.

"What? No, No. I don't want all the sarees. I'm just confused which one to choose" she told.

"Akash, do thing. You please select saree and jewellery for us" mom told me. I nodded my head and started searching a saree and matching jewellery for them.

After 20 minutes, I selected a red colour saree for maa and a pink one for my angel. They both liked their saree very much. Then I placed the whole bunch of gold bangles and matching necklace set in her hands.

Finally!
