Chapter 192
Leonard
Amica walks through the inferno like it’s nothing.
Like the fire isn’t real.
Like it isn’t the same fire that reduced men to ash right before my eyes.
“Thank the Goddess,” Freya breathes beside me, her voice barely a whisper–full of awe, full of relief.
“How… how did she even know to come?” she mutters, eyes wide.“let’s see if she survives this“” she scoffs
“What?” I ask, catching the tension in her tone.
“Nothing she replies too quickly, eyes still locked on Amica.
“Freya.” I press, stepping closer to her, “what do you mean, let’s see if she survives this‘? What are you not saying?”
She hesitates.
“I said I don’t know!” she snaps quietly, her nerves unraveling. “This… this is
in the books of legends, Leonard. No one alive has
seen it happen before. I don’t know if it works. I hope it does. But we’re all witnessing something we only thought was myth.”
I look back toward Amica, who’s still moving through the blaze like she’s walking through a dream. The flames curl around her, but. never touch her skin. And Deckard… gods, Deckard.
His voice rips through the air, deeper, darker than anything I’ve heard before.
Walk away, woman.. or you’ll burn.”
He doesn’t recognize her.
He’s gone too far into the fire.
令。
*Deckard, please! Look at me!” Amica cries, voice trembling but strong, like she’s reaching into the very soul of the beast.
Too busy sorry. I have enemies to destroy,” Deckard growls, his voice distant like its truly his own.
He strides forward, flames trailing behind every step, and walks past Arnica without a second glance.
“Where are you going?!” Amica cries out.
To destroy them all.” His voice booms through the ruined castle. “Everyone who ever stood between me and my Luna… will burn!”
“My Alpha?” Amica screams, Tears spill freely down her cheeks now. “Please…”
She reaches out–just her hand, for a touch–grasping for the man she knows is still buried beneath the beast. But the fire doesn’t recognize her plea.
It lashes out.
She screams as it burns her.
Deckard freezes.
He spins around at the sound–eyes wild–only to see her collapse.
“Amica he whispers, the fire flickering
Then–whoosh–his flames vanish all at once, extinguished in a sudden rush of air.
“Oh Goddess–Amica!” he drops to his knees, cradling her charred hand, panic rising in his throat.
“No, no–Amica, I’m sorry! I didn’t know. I didn’t know!” he stammers, lost, his head snapping from side to side, looking for help, for

Chapter 192
“Please… don’t leave me,”
。
Fear grips me as I watch Deckard–his eyes still wild, his posture stiff and lost in the flames.
I can’t leave him like this.
I make a move to run to him, but Freya’s grip stops me.
“Leonard, we don’t know for sure if his anger has lessened. It’s not safe.” she says urgently.
I yank my arm from her grasp, “What do you care?” I snap,
Ignoring her protests, I run toward Deckard, the heat almost unbearable as the fire swirls around me like a living beast. But I push through.
“Alpha Deckard! Please–let us find help!” My voice trembles “This place–this heat–it’s too much!”
I
Freya follows behind, her voice faint against the roaring fires “What the hell happened? Where is everyone?” deckard ask, as by hear her now.

*They either fled or they’re dead,” I reply, my throat thick with grief. “We
the ruins of Blackthorn Castle.
I glance at Freya. She’s watching us from a distance, unwilling to coeed to get out of here before it’s all gone.”
any closer. But she knows there’s nothing left to, salvage.
The entire place has been reduced to ashes. Half of it is gone even the exotic cars are gone–consumed by the flames.
We find a car parked outside the ruined gates, its engine still running. The three of us pile in, and with a quick glance back, I push my foot on the pedal. We drive, leaving Blackthorn behind–leaving everything behind.
“Where are we taking her?” I ask, my hands gripping the steering wheel tightly scattered. “Hospital? Where?”
as
I drive through the darkened streets, my thoughts
Deckard’s response is barely coherent, his voice a mix of confusion and urgency. “I… I don’t know… yes… I…”
Freya interrupts, her voice steady despite the chaos. “I will take care of her. Let’s get her to a safe place. I can heal her!”
“Drive to my manor at Almond Estate,” Deckard says,
Once we get to the estate come into view, the gates opening to let us pass. I park the car, turning off the engine

Deckard carries Amica carefully into one of the rooms, laying her down on the bed with the tenderness
“Do your thing now, Freya,” I say, his voice tight. “I’ll call a doctor for extra support.
Deckard stay in the background, pacing, unable to stand still. The room feels too quiet, too still, as Freya stands over Amica, placing her hand on her forehead to check her temperature.
“What’s wrong with her, Freya?” Deckard growls, his impatience as he stands by the bedside, barely able to contain himself.
Freya takes a moment before answering, her voice soft but laced with concern,
“Isn’t it obvious? You burned her with your fire, Alpha. But… I’m surprised she didn’t suffer more burns, I think she’s more shocked than
burned.”
