Game Over No Second Chances novel Chapter 375

"Nicely done." Melvin handed the attendant a thick stack of bills, then pulled Wendy into his arms and planted a deep, possessive kiss on her lips. "Wendy, everything's been taken care of. So, how about tonight…"

"I'm still not fully recovered," Wendy replied in a soft, breathy voice, then coughed delicately for effect. She knew exactly what Melvin liked—sickly sweet, fragile beauties.

She bit her lip and leaned closer into his chest, playing the part to perfection.

Melvin took the bait, completely hooked. Women who could satisfy his desires were easy to come by, but a delicate, pure-looking woman was a rare treat he preferred to savor slowly.

He didn't push her. That alone eased Wendy's nerves a little.

Her eyes remained fixed on a certain lit-up room in the villa. She narrowed her eyes, and her lips curled into a cold, triumphant smile.

Assaulted by another man on her own birthday—Serena, how long do you think you can keep standing so proudly next to Hugh?

She was no longer clean. And soon, Serena would have been the same.

Suddenly, a woman's silhouette flickered in the window.

Wendy's smile deepened. Finally, Serena had taken the bait. Soon, she'd call everyone over—and catch them red-handed.

Inside the room, Sarah was a whirlwind of chaos.

She tore through it like a storm, ripping every piece of fabric she could find, hurling expensive ornaments to the floor, and crushing scattered flower petals under her heels.

She even grabbed two bottles of blue ink and splattered them across the room like a madwoman, turning it into a war zone.

"I can't lay a hand on Hugh—but that doesn't mean I can't ruin everything he gave you!

"I'm going to destroy everything Hugh prepared for you. Rip it up, smash it, burn it—nothing's going to be left! Let's see if Hugh would really punish me just for trashing a room!"

She laughed wildly. But as she reached for a wine bottle on the nightstand, her hand paused.

Red wine… worth millions of dollars?

Breathless, Sarah fumbled for her phone and dialed. "Cole… help me…"

"The beach cabin. Don't keep me waiting." Cole hung up before she could say another word.

He'd spent the whole day watching Serena and Hugh play happy couple, and Sarah—his supposed outlet—had yet to deliver. He was in no mood for delays.

Sarah felt a sting of humiliation, but then a thought struck her. Wait… if she'd been drugged, didn't that make Cole the perfect way out?

After steadying herself, she stumbled out the back door of the villa. The beach cabin glowed faintly in the distance.

She hesitated, gritted her teeth, pulled the wine bottle from her bag, and finished it in one long swig. "No way I'm letting a golden opportunity go to waste."

If she played her cards right and gave him everything tonight, she could end up pregnant with Cole's child. That would secure her place for good.

She tossed the empty bottle aside and ran toward the beach cabin.

From afar, Wendy saw the lights in the villa dim and shouted at the top of her lungs. "Help! Someone help! A creep broke into a woman's room!"
