Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1006

Chapter 1006 Right Here

Sylas was like a comet soaring through the skies, moving so fast that he almost instantly soared beyond the half-kilometer limit.

His Will slipped, and it felt like he was already grasping at a sliding surface. He tried to grip onto the world, but like air and puffs of illusory smoke, it glided through his fingers.

And then he began to fall back.

BANG!

Sylas hit a barrier where his telekinesis worked again and slammed a foot against it, sending himself propelling up even faster than before.

An illusory green glow began to wrap around him, his body vanishing, replaced by an emerald serpent slithering through the skies. Its belly slapped against the Runes of the world, its muscles contracting and pulsing as it pulled itself up higher and higher.

The roar continuously echoed through the skies, a violent uprising of defiance and chaos pooling out.

Echoes of this roar spread out in all directions, and those that had collapsed beneath the mere presence of Sylas' Will before found themselves falling dead.

The resonating roars battered against the skies and finally…

The Legendary System responded.

A blue eye, resplendent and gorgeous in its aura, appeared high above, its gaze peering down. Akin to a lofty Emperor of the universe itself, it did nothing at first, almost as though it was trying to see if Sylas would still dare to continue forward.

And that Sylas did.

PUCHI.

A bolt of lightning descended from above.

In one moment, Sylas was climbing to the skies, and in the next, a hole was ripped right through his chest. The illusory suit of green Serpentes that had just wrapped around him shattered to pieces, shards of emerald falling from the skies like splintered glass.

BOOM!

Sylas collided with the earth below, waves of dirt and shattered rock splintering out in all directions.

Fusion.

It failed.

BANG!

Sylas slapped a palm on the ground, his face completely expressionless. His body was in rags, but his Will was still very much strong. He looked like a complete madman, and it was likely that only he was aware of what the hell he was doing right now.

His telekinesis shot him into the air once again. What was left of his heart sent out ribbons of blood in his wake, but Sylas had already reached a state where the state of his body alone wasn't what decided whether he was alive or dead.

His Will was too powerful.

And he would prove that.

He shattered the barrier limiting his Will again, gaining an extra 10 meters before he felt himself slipping again.

The roar echoed again, but this time he didn't even have to open his mouth.

His stats were plummeting in real time, everything that his Legendary Class had once given him being stripped down to build up an entirely new foundation.

But Sylas seemed to be chasing something else entirely.

His fist cocked back, and as though he felt something, his palm snapped open wide into a claw.

He swiped at the air with menace. All of his angst and rage, frustration months in the making, pooling into a Demonic resonating presence that cut across the air.

BANG!

A bolt of lightning collided with his claw, sending his body spiraling in the air as though a spinning top. ƒreewebɳovel.com

But the lightning itself shattered to pieces.

Sylas' eyes flashed, his Progenitor Flame Abilities activated to the full extent they could be. As the Runes that formed the lightning shattered, they reflected in his mind.

BANG!

He collided against the barrier once again. His telekinesis kicked in, his charred arm not impeding him in the slightest as he launched himself into the air again, swiping out another claw, and then again.

Every time, he shattered the lightning with greater and greater ease.

His heart seemed to open up, something blooming within its depths.
