Chapter 1039 Gralith Duskthorn

The 713th Scorpion Warlord, Gralith Duskthorn.

Sylas had heard the name before; he just had no idea what sort of weight it held. And in truth, in the Skai 11331 Galaxy, it held none, much like Sylas had guessed.

Sometimes, having backing that was too powerful for a given situation was as good as having no backing at all. In this case, that couldn't have been more true.

To the Skai 11331 Galaxy, Gralith Duskthorn might as well have been a nobody, an entity so high up they couldn't even fathom him. It was akin to asking an ant what the sun meant to it when it couldn't even complete complex thoughts of its own.

Of course, that had just been one worry of Sylas', which was why he never bothered to take it out. Although Gralith was likely aware of which galaxy he was in, and thus wouldn't tell Sylas to use it unless he had decent enough understanding of it, Sylas wasn't someone who liked to rely on anyone other than himself.

There was a very real possibility to Sylas that the Beast Warlord Sanctum was great enemies with this section of the universe, and thus bringing it out, even if those around him did know of Gralith, would just mean thrusting himself into even more danger.

But now, Sylas wasn't in the dark anymore.

While he still didn't know the weight behind Gralith's name, what he did know was that the Beast Warlord Sanctum was the ruler of an adjacent galaxy cluster to this one.

And, not only was this galaxy cluster far more powerful than the Golden Grove, but the Golden Grove didn't have a hostile relationship with the Beast Warlord Sanctum.

In fact, from what Sylas could pick up from the various auras around him, many of the Elder Council had actually come from the Beast Warlord Sanctum, where races built upon a foundation of beasts were extremely common.

The silk worm elder, the Unitaurs, the golden lizard elder… any number of those here could very easily find their family roots in the Beast Warlord Sanctum. But for various reasons, they had ended up here.

As for why Sylas knew Gralith had to be one of the most powerful of the Beast Warlord Sanctum…

It was in his title.

He called himself the 713th Scorpion Warlord. That meant one of two things. Either there were 713 or more active Scorpion Warlords right this moment, and this denoted his rank. Or, he was the 713th successor to the title.

It didn't matter which one was the truth.

Earth alone had tens of billions of people before the Summoning. What did it mean to be top 1000 in anything the entire planet could participate in?

To say that 99th percentile was an understatement.

In practice, this would mean that Gralith was the 99th percentile, of the 99th percentile, of the 99th percentile… of the 99th percentile. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

And that was just if this was Earth one was speaking of.

This wasn't Earth. It wasn't just a planet that had had far more time to grow into its own. It wasn't just a star system. It wasn't just a quadrant. It wasn't just a galaxy.

It was a galaxy cluster.

Just how many trillions upon trillions upon trillions of people would be involved in such a count?
