Sylas stepped out from the cell with a calm expression on his face. At that moment, the darkness that had consumed everything slipped away and he could see the entire situation.
The dungeon was still quite dull, but it was no longer to the point that one couldn't even see the hand before their face. It was almost like stepping into a separate world.
The Sylph's method might have been easily exploited by the likes of Sylas, but he noticed an ingenuity in their Rune methods that actually intrigued him more than not. In fact, he was curious to meet the person that designed this Dungeon.
Was it really the Sylphs? Or was it the party pulling their strings?
It wouldn't be much of a surprise if it was the latter, but Sylas was intrigued by them nonetheless.
Sylas looked away from the long corridor of dull blue stone and ahead. His eyes landed on a Clypsian with greyed hair. He had an upper body that was almost too wide, bristling with muscle and veins. By comparison, his lower body looked atrophied.
'His legs have been crippled. But…'
He was strong. Very strong.
It wasn't just his Will, but his actual power was on another level. If he wasn't in the D-Grade, he was very close.
Sylas had met those with close to D-Grade strength before, Megean was one of them. But this man… he felt stronger.
There was no way Sylas was going to try and use his new Scouting Skill on him. He knew that it would only end very poorly, so it would be a waste for him to even try.
"Wait here," Sylas said calmly. Then, his body flashed.
Minutes later, he returned with bloodied fingers and keys in his hand. He hooked a key into the man's cell and clicked it open.
There was a change in the Clypsian's eyes as he could finally see Sylas for the first time. In an instant, it felt as though a telekinesis that could crush the world had appeared all around Sylas.
"Release me daughter."
Sylas just stood there, his expression not changing in the slightest.
The eyes of the man narrowed. How strong was Sylas' Will that he wasn't affected in the slightest? He hadn't used his Will to attack Sylas just yet, but the mere presence of it should have been able to make an F-Grade piss their pants.
"I see. You're not a D-Grade yet. In which case…"
Sylas touched on the Gluttony Seed for the first time in a long while, flicking out a finger. A concentrated line of menacing telekinesis came from his claw, forming a sharp blade through the air fueled by none other than his Gluttony Seed and…
The Grimblade Unique Gene.
As powerful as the man's Will was, it was nowhere near an Enlightened Will. At best, by Sylas' estimation, it was in Forging level—maybe. Honestly, he wasn't very sure because he wasn't familiar with how Will would translate in the E-Grades, and the Wills of the Clypsians were so much different from any he had felt before. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
