Sylas gasped for breath, his body being forcefully ejected out.

He practically flew out, coughing up a mouthful of blood. As he did so, he and Nosphaleen were forcefully separated, and suddenly the heat of the world's core almost burnt him to ash in a single instant of time.

It was Nosphaleen that reacted quickly, rushing to him and hugging him tightly.

The world seemed to recognize Sylas as someone Nosphaleen wanted to protect, and it finally let down a bit of its guard. Then, it thought clearly enough to feel a closeness with Sylas, which, while not as strong as its closeness to Nosphaleen, was strong nonetheless.

'Did it… work?'

Sylas coughed again as Nosphaleen pulled him away from the core of the world, his mind still spinning.

He knew that something had been done, but he wasn't sure if this was exactly what he wanted just yet.

His hope was that his action would wipe out the Kaelthar of the Skai 11331 Galaxy. With one of his two competitors wiped out, he would just have to focus on dealing with Thalrik Dazeth. At that point, it would just be a matter of weaving around the troubles of the Trakar.

But Sylas could have never imagined that he had actually aimed too high.

The Sylphs were practically no more now, and the enemy of Earth had certainly been wiped out for the time being. But… let alone the Kaelthar of Skai 11331, the Main Clan Kaelthar was practically unscathed other than a slight fear-induced panic.

Sylas hadn't even stepped foot out of the Sector, but he was responsible for the death of an entire Demi-God Race of beings.

A Race with B and A-Grade elites was snapped out of existence just like that, and the one responsible was muddle-headed, hoping that a Race branch family with D-Grade elites at best had been the one to suffer instead.

If others knew the details of what happened here, their reactions would be hard to fathom. And maybe the Ancestors of the Myrrakhael that had poured so much blood, sweat, and tears into building their Clan up brick by brick wouldn't just roll in their graves, but resurrect just to kill themselves again.

Nosphaleen finally pulled Sylas out of the volcano, her breathing somewhat labored as well. It took effort to suppress her fear of Sylas' Charisma, but it was also clear that Sylas had taken on the brunt of the cognitive load between the two of them.

"Master, are you alright?" Nosphaleen asked, trying to prop up Sylas' head and eventually opting to rest it on her lap.

"I'm fine. My mind is just drained."

"But you…"

"Coughed up blood? That was just a bit of backlash from the World's core detecting our split. It's nothing too bad."

Sylas took another breath. "While I'm resting, help me find another vessel to use. I need to return to the Golden Grove to see what the situation is. Wait…"

After a moment, Sylas looked at the Madness Key. He subconsciously thought that the Madness Key could only inform him about things of the past, but was that the case?

When he needed to know about the jade that now held the Obelisks that were key to his Race upgrade, it had been able to analyze the immediate situation to tell him what it was. So who was to say it couldn't do that on a larger scale?

"Can you tell me if my plan to wipe out the Kaelthar family of this galaxy worked?" Sylas asked.

[Can you tell me if my plan to wipe out the Kaelthar family of this galaxy worked?]

[The Kaelthar are unharmed]

Sylas' eyes narrowed when he heard this. He was sure that something had happened. What then—?
