Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 833

Sylas mulled over several things in his mind before he eventually landed back on that statue they faced off against before entering the Split Realm.

He could remember that it was impossible to move there until he managed to find a way to combine his Aether and Telekinesis. But back then… he hadn’t really understood it.

Since then, he had had no need to use such an ability because it didn’t seem like it had much use. It didn’t increase the weight of his telekinesis at all, though now that he thought about it, it did make controlling his Aether itself quite easy.

But the advantages he gained in control could be easily matched by raising his Mastery as well.

Now, however, he was wondering if he had missed something quite big.

Was that the secret to the true power of Comprehensions? A mixture of Comprehension, Aether, and telekinesis?

The thoughts continuously whirled in Sylas’ mind as he continued to stare down the characters.

Suddenly, he closed his eyes. Or, rather, figuratively did so, as they already were.

He pulled himself out of that state, his head pulsing with a bit of pain. He had been in his slow perception state for too long, tagging onto that that he was using it to observe something so complex, and he was bound not to last very long.

With this new Time-related Progenitor Flame Ability of his, Sylas had realized that analyzing, studying, and understanding Runes had become far easier. It was actually because of this that his Scorpion Warlord Armor had taken a sudden step forward, reaching Soul Mastery, 60% perfection, and granting him +3000 Physical.

However, it was also quite taxing. Though, shockingly effective.

After all, he only needed to observe his Scorpion Warlord Armor a single time — the very moment he summoned it against Lorien.

Still, Sylas knew that that was mostly a coincidence. The unique circumstances had allowed the sudden breakthrough, which was why he hadn’t tried to do it again.

But these thoughts were further confirmed while observing [Arcane Telekinesis]. It seemed that this Time Ability would be even more useful than he originally assumed.

Still, none of that changed the basic fact…

His telekinesis still wasn’t strong enough — not enough to even begin to touch this third layer. Although he could see it, sense it, comprehend it, he couldn’t even begin to use it.

And something told him that even if his telekinesis was ten times more powerful and could exert the same Physical on 10,000 pounds, it still wouldn’t be enough.

It also made him realize just how weak his telekinesis was in the opinion of Arcane Madness. Or, rather, the standards of a Madness Disciple.

From what he could tell, he shouldn’t even be able to see the full extent of the first layer until his telekinesis could exhibit 10,000 pounds of force, and that was just the bare minimum, certainly not including what would be needed for the second layer and beyond.

This sounded like a shocking number, but when Sylas thought about it… it only made sense.

His strength was already such that he could lift 10,000 pounds above his head with a single arm — he had accomplished as much in the previous battle.
