Sylas’ vision swam, but he experienced something quite quickly that he had many times before almost immediately.
Danger.
He didn’t even get to see what it was, and he couldn’t move a single inch. Luckily, he felt a strong urge come from the depths of his Aether.
With a push, he expelled a large amount of Glassvolt Aether, forming a series of barriers.
Their shattering reverberated in his ears one after another before a strong force slammed against his chest.
A grunt left Sylas’ lips as he was sent flying backward, his back slamming against heavy, hard rock that made no attempt to give way. All of the pressure was transferred directly to his body, and he almost felt his bones collapsing on him one after another.
Finally, Sylas’ visualization cleared enough to see what was happening around him, his actual vision still lagging behind.
For a moment, he thought he was staring at the Bone-Tailed Lizard.

[Anklyosaurus (FFF+)]
[Level: 37]
—
’Level 37? How is it so strong?’
Though Sylas had dismissed his Scorpion Warlord Armor to conserve his Will, a Level 37 shouldn’t be able to blast through his Defenses like that.
All of these thoughts flashed in Sylas’ mind quickly, and the answers came the moment his feet touched the ground.
The gravity here was shocking.
’This doesn’t make any sense…’
Sylas knew that he was likely approaching the center of the Earth now. Although he didn’t have a hand in the teleportation, his ability to orient himself and feel his movement through space and time, or rather, the Mesh of Reality, was beyond what most could fathom.
While others would be disoriented, Sylas could actually vaguely tell what direction he had been sent in and had a guess as to how far. Thanks to the ability he awakened after reaching Rune Spark, he was certain that he had somehow instantly been teleported to a halfway point between the surface and the core of Earth.
This was all to say that, scientifically speaking, an increase in gravity made no sense. Something was wrong, or this was related to the Dungeon.
But could the Dungeon really still be so active this deep?
Sylas rolled to the side, avoiding the sudden follow-up attack.
BANG!
The ground cracked as Sylas leapt back up to his feet.
’It lacks flexibility.’
The body of the dinosaur was bulky, and its best means of attack required agility it didn’t have. It was good at a sneak attack, but otherwise…
Sylas flashed forward, getting so close that the next tail swing soared over his head, missing entirely.
He slid beneath the dinosaur, popping up on the other side and leaping into the air.
His telekinesis took hold of his body, and he smashed down a fist from above just as the dinosaur foolishly tried to turn, thinking he was on the other side of it rather than high above it.
BANG!
Sylas’ fist fell with the momentum of a meteor, driving down with such power the head of the beast into the ground.
There was a crack as its powerful exo-skeleton gave way beneath Sylas’ power, a pulsing Glassvolt Aether running into its body like jumping sparks of electricity.
The body of the beast convulsed, and when it tried to stand, the poison only spread faster, Runes spreading through it like a virus.
Sylas landed on its head, his Blackened Claws manifesting and shearing right through the cracks in its bones his fist had formed.
The beast twitched one final time before falling to silence.
