Leo doesn’t understand the woman in front of him. Leo is still in a daze when Claire bends over and holds the wound on the back of her hand.
Is this woman really the slut he always thinks she is?
The man who was kicked away by Leo gets up and rushes again.
Leo has responded. He puts Claire in his arms again. When he kicks him away, they rush out of the crowd.
“Don’t let them run away!”
“Stop!”
“Get him!”
Those gangsters are catching up again.
But at this time, Leo’s subordinates finally arrive.
Five luxury cars stop at the gate of the airport. A group of bodyguards in suits rush out of the car.
Some of them protect Leo and Claire while others rush to fight against the gangsters.
A man who seems to be the leader of this group of bodyguards walks up to Leo and bows to him, “young master, we are late.”
Leo stares at him coldly and points to the gangsters. “Damn it, kill them!”
The man nods and leaves a few people behind and rushes over.
Claire watches them fight. She looks at Leo doubtfully and says, “what’s the matter?”
Instead of answering Claire, Leo grabs Claire’s soft little hand.
He looks at the red cut on Claire’s delicate back of hand and turns to the people around him and says, “bring the doctor.”
The man nods and drives off.
Leo takes off his tie and wraps the wound on Claire’s back. But she is still bleeding.
Claire’s face turns pale. Leo picks up Claire and gently puts her in the car.
He lights a cigarette quietly and watches them fight coldly.
Claire looks at Leo’s side face and indifferent eyes through the window.
He seems to be used to the scene. He seems indifferent.
Claire’s been staring at Leo. She does not know that the wound on the back of her hand has been bleeding. The tie can’t stop her bleeding.
The dark blue tie is soaked in blood and becomes cold and heavy. Claire feels the blood fall on her knees.
Claire suddenly feels scared and faints.
Leo sees Claire fall back. He is so nervous that he helps her to lean on his shoulder.
At this time, the man outside the window suddenly comes to the front of the car and bows down respectfully, “master, it has been solved.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
