Chapter 844
Olivia paused and looked at the man at the dining table. He was glowing and did not look like he had just suffered a fever.
'No thanks."
'I’m on my way to the hospital anyway. It’s not out of my way, so why refuse me? Hmm?'
Olivia did not want to argue with him, but John had already got up and walked over to her, handing her a sandwich.
’Mrs. Simmons makes delicious sandwiches. Take it with you. You can eat it when you're hungry later."
’Have you recovered so soon?’
John smiled. "Maybe it's because you were with me, so I recovered quickly. My fever is gone in the morning, and I have a good appetite. It doesn't affect me at all.*
Olivia only found the man weird. Who could have a fever of 39 degrees Celsius in the middle of the night and be so energetic the next day?
However, she did not bother to argue with him, so she followed him into his car.
’John, I don't want to forgive you, nor do I intend to believe you. I hope you understand."
John changed his attitude and said with a nod, "Yeah, I know. I won't force it. You'll see who's telling the truth in the future.’
Olivia turned to look out of the window. She grabbed her phone and called Ken.
’Where are you? Kate's illness is getting worse. She needs someone to sign the papers, so do that if you're at the
hospital and don't miss the emergency deadline. I’m on my way.’
’I'm at home."
Ken's voice was a little indifferent. "Your presence is all they need."
'Ken, how long are you going to be at odds with her? She's your sister. Are you sure you don't care if she dies?"
Olivia's tone was harsh with a hint of a reprimand. "That's enough. You'll regret it if you keep this up."
