Rose tried to calm everyone down. “Hey, I’ll be okay. Everyone here today is just here for the engagement party, so Lizzy’s not in any real danger. She’s probably just being her played sail and wandered off outside the estate. This place is massive, so it’s not surprising we can’t find her right away. Let’s start by checking the security cameras.” 

Allison jumped in, “My dad’s already on the cameras. Let’s split up and start searching. We should also ger more people to help look.” 

Just then, a commotion erupted from the crowd ahead

The big screen meant for the engagement ceremony was now showing a video of a kidnapped Lizzy crying her 

heart out

Joshua raced after her, grabbing her arm. “Allie, don’t. It’s dangerous! 

Allison fought to break free. I have to! They’re after me. If I don’t go, Lizzy’ll be in danger? 

“Call the cops first, Joshua said, staying level–headed. 

“You call them, but don’t stop me. Every second counts, and I can’t risk Lizzy’s life! Allison was on the verge of tears. ‘She got kidnapped because of me. I can’t just stand by and do nothing” 

Joshua raised his voice and his grip was firm. “And you think risking your life is the solution?” 

Just then, a man rushed over. “Sir, we’ve found Miss Lizzy. She’s on the top floor.” 

Joshua ordered sharply, ‘Call the police.” 

The man replied, “Already done. They’re on their way! 

Joshua kept his cool, quickly hatching a plan. “Allie, they’re using Lizzy to get to you. Don’t fall for it. II mobilize all the security in the estate to head to the rooftop. You need to keep your head, okay?”
