Rose finally let out a long-awaited smile upon hearing that Lizzy had safely returned. "It's really good to have her back."

Ben relaxed his furrowed brow and asked, "What did the Owens family say about all this?"

Joshua's expression remained unchanged, his demeanor calm as he replied, "Not much."

Rose was taken aback, "I'll go visit the Owens family tomorrow to see Lizzy. I'll bring some gifts to apologize to Javier and his wife. After all, Lizzy got kidnapped because of our family."

Grandma Emily snorted, pursing her lips in disapproval. "There's no need for that. The girl came back perfectly fine, didn't she? Nothing happened to her, so why should we lower ourselves like this? Rose, you are the lady of the Fisher family, remember your status. Your actions reflect on us. Don't do anything that lowers our dignity."

Rose frowned, "Mom, how can this be considered lowering our dignity? Something like this happened, and if we ignore it, that's what's truly unacceptable."

Joshua added, "Grandma, the kidnapping left a significant psychological impact on Lizzy. Her mental state isn't great right now."

Seeing herself being ignored, Grandma Emily's expression turned sour. "Joshua, are you contradicting your grandmother?"

Joshua's lips barely moved. "How could I? If you, with your high status, don't want to visit the Owens family, that's your choice. I can't change that, can I?"
