Chaim did not like Samara looking at him like this. He could not help but frown.
Samara stopped sneering and looked at him, expressionless. “Then you do care a lot about Ms. Dawson. Since then, I will help you two tonight.”
As Samara spoke, she walked past Chaim and left the hotel room.
Serena saw that Chaim had come and felt a little more confident. Looking at Samara’s back, she could not help but complain, “Is she crazy? Why did she suddenly come over with all this gibberish?”
However, no one agreed with Serena.
Camille looked at Samara’s back until she left the room. She frowned and walked to Chaim, looking guilty and worried. “Chaim, Ms. Novak doesn’t seem to be in a good condition. Aren’t you going to chase after her?”
When Chaim heard this, he lowered his head and looked at Camille. “I already divorced her.”
As he spoke, his expression turned colder than before. “If she comes to you again, you don’t have to say anything to her. It’s late. Go to bed.”
Camille saw that Chaim was about to leave, so she hesitated and called out to him. “Chaim…”
Chaim had just walked to the door and saw that Camille looked like she wanted to say something, so he couldn’t help but frown. “Is there anything else?”
Camille pursed her lips. “I’m still a little worried about Ms. Novak. Why don’t I walk you downstairs and take a look at her?”
Chaim did not want Camille to get involved, but he was not a meddler either. Since Camille was concerned about Samara, he would just let her.
“Whatever you want.”
Camille nodded and glanced at Serena. “Serena, Chaim and I will go and see Ms. Novak.”
Serena was indeed Camille’s sister. When she heard Camille’s words, her expression became even worse. “What’s that for? Can’t you see that she doesn’t like you at all?”
Just as Samara and Roland walked out of the hotel, the reporters that Roland asked over surrounded them.
Samara did not want to have anything else to do with Chaim, although they were still related only to the public eye.
However, she really couldn’t let go of what she had been through the last three years.
