Go Away, I'm a Billionairess Now (Samara and Chaim) novel Chapter 149

Chapter 149 It Means Nothing to Me

Samara looked at Serena and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. “Ms. Dawson, what can I do for you?”

“Can I speak with you for five minutes?”

Serena walked out of the elevator and pointed to the corridor behind Samara, indicating that they should go there.

Samara shrugged slightly and turned to walk to the end of the corridor.

“Samara, I am very sorry about what my sister did yesterday. I don’t know why she lied. Now the consequences have gone beyond our control. Mr. Humphrey was so angry last night that he fell ill and got sent to the hospital.”

Serena stopped here, looking at Samara.

Samara looked at her and smiled, “What do you want to say exactly, Ms. Dawson?”

Serena couldn’t make up her mind after seeing Samara’s reaction, but she also knew that other than asking Samara to delete the tweet and make it blow away, there was no better way to deal with this.

“Camille did lie. I won’t deny that, but she has paid the price. Yesterday, she almost died. As her older sister, I’m partly

responsible for the stupid things she did. I want to apologize on her behalf, Samara.”

Serena said as she stepped back, bowed, and said “sorry“.

Samara and Serena had been sisters–in–law for more than three years. This was the first time Samara had seen Serena so

“humble” in front of her.

This was eye–opening.

Samara curled her lips and did not say a word.
