Go Away, I’m a Billionairess Now By Evie Cole Chapter 19 Really Good-Looking
Samara had an early meeting today. It was already past eleven o’clock when she came out of the meeting room.
She came from the headquarters. And as soon as she came, she was the most powerful person besides the CEO. She had been here for only a few days, and the employees in Elephant Group had already come up with thirteen different stories about Samara’s background.
Among them, the most plausible story was that Samara was the mistress of someone in high places in the headquarters because no one could find out anything about Samara’s four–year gap since she graduated. Obviously, she had found a sugar daddy.
Although Samara intended to take over the family company, she had no plans to reveal her identity for the time being. Therefore, only Jimena, who had come here with Samara, knew the company was owned by Samara’s family.
Yes, even the CEO, Rogelio Silva, did not know this.
Rogelio thought more than his subordinates. The headquarters suddenly sent such a young woman over and put her in a high position that was only second to his. Based on his many years of working experience, Rogelio’s first thought was that the headquarters wanted to replace him.
Samara was in quite an awkward and difficult position because she had to deal with all the hostility from both her superiors and inferiors. Otherwise, Rogelio would not have made her go to the dinner party last night.
However, Samara loved challenges. She asked to work here to get tempered, so she would not cry
for help so soon.
After hearing Jimena’s words, Samara smiled, “Just let them.”
In the three years that she had been in the Humphrey family, she had gotten used to people talking
shit about her.
Jimena nodded and commented on Rogelio’s actions, “They have agreed to give that piece of land to the Wilson family. Rogelio gave you the job obviously to intimidate you.
Samara raised her eyebrows. “Nathan Wilson?”
“Right,” Jimena answered.
Samara glanced at Jimena and smiled meaningfully, “Let’s see whether it will be an obstacle or a stepping stone for me.”
