Chapter 203 Thank You, Ms. Humphrey
Samara did not want to have any more contact with the people of the Humphrey family.
However, someone offered to apologize to her. If she did not go and see that joke, she couldn’t vent the anger from the contempt she received over the past three years.
After she and Chaim got married, Samara felt that the past was over. After all, she had taught the Humphrey family a great lesson after her divorce.
But things did not go as she wished. Gloria liked to make things difficult for Samara, and Chaim seemed to have become unreasonable and annoying.
The things that happened three years ago could be forgotten. However, so many things happened after their divorce. She felt like someone had fed her something that she did not like to eat, which made her nauseous. Even if she wanted to vomit, she had to do it in front of the people who hurt her to vent her anger.
As for the dinner tonight, Samara was going to embarrass the Humphrey siblings by watching their big joke.
When Samara arrived, the two were already in the private room.
The waiter pushed open the door and gestured for Samara to come in. “Ms. Novak, Mr. Humphrey and Ms. Humphrey are waiting for you inside.”
Hearing the waiter’s words, Samara could not help but chuckle.
This was the first time that Chaim had waited for her.
Samara walked in. Just as she entered the room, Samara saw Gloria sitting beside Chaim.
Compared to a few days ago, Gloria was indeed less domineering.
“Have a seat.”
However, Chaim didn’t change. He only glanced at Samara indifferently.
Samara smiled and did not provoke Gloria anymore.
At this time, Chaim handed over the menu. “Take a look and order what you want to eat.”
The smile on Samara’s face faded. She looked up at Chaim and took the menu.
Sometimes, Chaim would be generous. Not long ago, he gave up on a piece of land that was worth millions. Now, the restaurant they were in served food with sky–high prices.
Samara didn’t hold back. She pointed at the recommended dishes on the menu.
“This, this, and this. Um, this one looks good too…”
Only three people would eat, but Samara ordered so many dishes. Anyone could see that she did it on purpose.
