Chapter 265 A Tricky Issue
“Samara, what’s wrong with you? Did you make it up with Chaim? Are you kidding me, Samara? Do you want to ruin your life. again? Didn’t you say that you would never get back together with him when you divorced?”
The moment Samara sat down, Gisselle bombarded her with questions.
Samara picked up a glass of juice and took a sip. She sat there calmly, waiting until Gisselle stopped talking. Then she slowly. said, “Are you done?”
“No. Give me a drink, and I can keep on talking. ”
Samara glanced at her with a smile. “Then why should I give you more time?”
Gisselle took a sip of her cold drink and calmed down a little. “You can speak now. Tell me, what happened last night?”
Samara did not want to hide it from Gisselle, so she told her what happened last night. “I rarely do good things. I didn’t expect it to backfire.”
Having known Samara for years, Gisselle knew her character well.
Samara was not warm–hearted. In fact, she did not like to help people, nor was she feeble–minded. These qualities would easily land her in trouble.
Samara was just an ordinary person, who wanted a simple life and hated trouble.
Hearing this, Gisselle cursed, “That man has a grudge against you, doesn’t he?”
Samara could be with anyone. Being with Roland was better than being with Chaim.
Samara raised her eyebrows. “I agree with you. He has a grudge against me.”
But the key point was that Samara had thought about it for so long and still hadn’t figured out who the man was.
When the news broke out, Samara had asked Jimena to suppress it, but to no avail. Chaim called Samara, saying he could only make it less trending, but those who spread the rumors couldn’t be silenced.
Even a fool would not believe that no one was behind it now that the rumors had gotten so widespread.
Gisselle assured Samara. “It’s okay. I’ll ask Alven to suppress it.”
Samara shook her head. “I want him to help me find out who is spreading the rumors.”
It took a while for Gisselle to know what Samara meant. “Finding the culprit. You are smart, Samara!”
Gisselle was pleased to know that Samara didn’t get back with Chaim. She wrapped her arm around Samara’s shoulder. “Are you going to hang out with me tonight?”
Samara slapped Gisselle’s hand. “Those paparazzi would say I am so excited that I can’t sleep.”
These tabloids were ridiculous.
