Chapter 275 It May Be Related to Mr. Garza
When Chaim heard this, he only looked up and cast a glance at Eric.
From the beginning to the end, Chaim didn’t say a word. Then he turned to leave.
Shortly after, the car roaring sounded from downstairs. Watching the car lights gradually fade away downstairs, Eric smiled slightly. Then he called Jeff to come over.
Jeff came in very quickly. However, before Jeff carried out Eric’s order, he couldn’t help but ask, “Mr. Humphrey, have you decided to do so? If Mr. Chaim finds out that this is all part of your plan one day, will he…”
Eric’s face instantly turned cold at Jeff’s words. Eric interrupted, “Then never let him know about it!”
Eric knew that Chaim had no affection for the Humphrey family. If Chaim knew that Eric had planned all of this and acquiesced to Gloria’s drugging of Samara and Chaim, Chaim would leave the Humphrey’s home without hesitation.
Chaim was the only one who the Humphrey family could rely on. To prevent the Humphrey family from declining after Eric’s death, these things should never be known to Chaim.
Jeff was slightly shocked when he saw the viciousness in Eric’s eyes, but he quickly realized it. “I understand, Mr. Humphrey.”
“Okay. Go and get the doctor.”
It was a part of the plan for Eric’s sudden admitting to the hospital tonight.
Jeff nodded. He hurriedly went downstairs to get the family doctor. While the doctor was doing the check–up on Eric, Jeff called an ambulance.
Samara didn’t sleep well last night. When she woke up this morning, she felt a little headache.
Samara looked at the phone and found it was almost 8:00 am. She had to attend the morning meeting, so she quickly got up and pulled open the curtains.
The sunshine came in through the windows. It was very bright. Samara narrowed her eyes slightly and became much more awake.
After Samara washed up, she put on some light makeup. She left the apartment at 8:30 am. for Elephant Group.
