“Rebellious girl, what are you insinuating? You’ve lost your mind!” Henry was livid. He rushed forward, raising his hand as if to slap Luna.

However, Luna deftly sidestepped, causing Henry, due to his excessive force, to almost stumble out.

Howe could someone favored by their parents ever be harmed? It is always those overlooked by their parents who end up getting hurt.

Hearing Isabella’s thoughts, the Quirks secretly nodded in agreement.

Bianca shrank back, helpless and trembling, into her mother’s embrace. Despite her frailty, she managed to exude an air of aggrieved innocence. “Luna, what on earth are you talking about?” she asked, her voice firm.

“Just as I thought, you’re beyond redemption,” Luna said with a cold laugh.

When Luna spoke of their precious daughter in such a way, Henry and Marjorie were so infuriated they were practically gasping for breath. They incessantly cursed their misfortune and lamented her unbearable defiance.

Thomas stormed forward, his anger palpable. “Luna,” he spat out, “It seems you u won’t learn your lesson until it’s too late. Fine, I’ll make sure you give up!”

Thomas thought he had won, smugly reaching out to grab Luna’s arm.

Luna took a step back, turning to look at the person who claimed to be her junior. “You should know,” she said, “if the posts were spreading rumors, only then would our school’s forum delete them. Why didn’t you mention this? Those posts have long been deleted, and the people who posted them have been silenced.”

Thomas suddenly choked up, bowing his head in embarrassment.

What else could it be? He pursued you, but you rejected him. That’s just how some men are. If they can’t have you, they seek opportunities to ruin you. He was probably the one who was most active under those posts. What a joker.

Isabella’s sarcastic thoughts caused the Quirks to look over. They wanted to identify which family this person belonged to. Such a distasteful individual, they thought, should be avoided in future interactions.

“Even now, you still won’t admit it?” Thomas was so exasperated that he could only laugh.

“You were pregnant, yet you committed such a vile act, and you even tried to pin it on your sister?” Henry was already seething with rage.

“What a disaster! How could I have given birth to such a shameless daughter! Luna, if you continue to be so stubborn, we will disown you!” Marjorie warned with a heavy heart.

It seemed as though they hoped this would ward off his rebellious daughter, preventing her from going off the rails again.

Luna scoffed. “I stopped wanting to be your daughter a long time ago.”

A single sentence left Henry and Marjorie frozen on the spot.

“What…what did you say?”

Luna finally allowed resentment to creep into her tone “What’s so great about being your daughter? You can’t even recognize her from a photo. And why are you so surprised? Have you never had any doubts? It’s one thing for others not to know, but from childhood till now, hasn’t she done enough under my name? Is this one more thing really so surprising?”

Henry and Marjorie were taken aback. It was as if they had finally regained their memory due to Luna’s reminder, and their expressions suddenly became strange.

They were worried that Luna might inadvertently reveal something, so they planned to subtly change the subject.

Whenever they encountered Henry and Marjorie, this topic often came up in their conversations. They had never heard Henry and Marjorie deny it

Good grief, how could such twisted logic even be voiced? Regardless of whether it was for show or sincere, it was all Luna’s accomplishment. For others to reap her fruits, it’s a wander how Luna could tolerate it. I think because Old Mrs. Cowell health deteriorated later on. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have let Luna suffer so much in the Cowell family.
