Upon receiving it, Alexander immediately passed it to Isabella. Isabella, holding the thick envelope, smiled even more sincerely. Her reaction was one that the elders loved to see when they gave out such gifts. 

Callahan and Isabella were asked by Marley to sit on either side of her, right next to the main couch where she and Lionel were seated. 

Everyone else gradually took their seats. 

Caitlin, due to her old age, primarily resided in the Quirk estate with Lionel. Eric, who was originally from Yrinas, visited frequently. Felix, who lived in the neighboring city Gishwick, also made regular trips back home. At this point, only Greta and Hansel were left. 

“Niel ran into some business trouble, so he and his family are still overseas dealing with it. They’ll probably be back a bit later. Hansel’s family is waiting for their daughter to finish her exams, and they’ll return home once that’s done. Maeve and her family are also still abroad.” 

It took a moment for Isabella to remember Maeve, the youngest daughter who was Marley’s own child. 

David said, “I’ve heard. Let’s introduce Isabella and Callahan to everyone first. Otherwise, these two youngsters wouldn’t even know how to address everyone.” 

“Let me do it, Dad,” volunteered Alexander, causing a momentary silence to fall over the room. Though many present had interacted with Alexander in a professional capacity and even exchanged pleasantries, it was rare to meet him personally. To see Alexander take the initiative was even more extraordinary. 

Quietly comforting Isabella by holding her hand, Alexander began introducing her to each of his family members, starting with Caitlin. 

Caitlin’s family included herself, Adam, their eldest daughter Sarah, Sarah’s husband Bennett, their daughter Nina, and Carlos. 

Isabella maintained a perfect smile, taking the initiative to greet everyone. Her gaze swept over each person, making sure that she could match everyone’s faces to their names. 

Caitlin’s family… They’ve passed. 

David and the rest breathed a sigh of relief. 

Alexander was puzzled. 

Evian asked Callahan to greet them. When he was introduced to Nina, the two children quickly formed a bond. It seemed likely that they would be playing together soon. 

Caitlin chuckled. “Earlier, Dad and Aunt Marley insisted we all watch a show together. It was the one where Isabella and Christopher were in, and they were fantastic! You guys even won the championship!”
