Mandy would be appointed as the CEO as long as she retrieved the investment. That news was spread to the entire Zimmer family.

A lot of them were stunned. But they did not say much for they knew that the Zimmers might really go bankrupt if they did not have that investment funds.

For most of them, they did not find any problem with who was in power as long as they could always maintain a rather luxurious and extravagant life.

As for Zack’s family, both father and son sat across each other, looking at each other helplessly.

Zack looked menacing. He then said, “Dad, all of the people from my uncle’s family are nothing but losers. All of them are ungrateful people who side with the outsiders. Not only did they stand by and witness the scene where Harvey humiliated me, they wanted to take the position as the CEO just because of some pathetic investment. They’re bullying us to the extreme!”

Sean focused his attention and said, “Senior Zimmer was right about one thing. The investment is really quite meaningful and important to us. Besides, we must think of a way to mend our relationship with York Enterprise. As long as we get the investment, so what if I give her that post?”

“But…” Zack’s facial expression became twisted. “If that’s the case, doesn’t it mean that we’ve allowed those women to get the upper hand and be in power?”

“So what if they’re in power? Don’t you forget this. They're nothing but losers no matter what. How is it possible for a woman to lead our Zimmer family? Senior Zimmer made them that promise because he was forced to do so in that kind of situation. As long as we obtain the investment, Senior Zimmer will certainly be the one who has a final say. In short, we’ll talk about it after we get the investment. Just let them be smug about it during these few days.” Sean appeared cold. He was not the kind of man who stood by and did nothing, waiting for the inevitable to come. He had started to think about resolutions now.
