“So if we’re not going to buy that, we can’t try that on. Is that so?” Harvey smiled. It was indeed the first time he had met that kind of employee. If they did not try on the products such as the clothes and shoes, how could they buy them?

Mandy looked slightly uncomfortable beside them. It was apparent that the employee looked down on them. It was a fact that her company had been down on its feet recently. Finally, her company was back on its track with much difficulty with the eight hundred thousand dollars which Harvey obtained. She was certainly not able to bring herself to spend around sixteen thousand dollars on a pair of shoes.

“Harvey, let’s go then. We can go and look around at some other places…” Mandy said awkwardly.

Seeing Mandy’s attitude, Harvey nodded slightly. After all, there were a lot of good brands in that shopping center. Since the employees at that shop were not behaving properly, they could go to another shop. As long as they had money, they did not have to worry that they could not buy a pair of shoes.

But before the three of them left that shop, they heard a female voice from behind them. The woman said, “Hey! Take that pair of shoes down for me. I want to try them on!”

That woman looked like she was in her late twenties. She seemed quite sexy and seductive. At that moment, she was pointing at the pair of shoes which Mandy and the others were looking at just now. Besides, there was a bald and fat man beside her who looked like he was in his fifties. He was wearing a large golden necklace at that moment. That was quite dazzling.

In that instant, the bald man stared at that sexy woman absent-mindedly. He was entirely unaware of the fact that he might have to spend a huge sum of money later on. From the way things looked, he seemed like a wastrel who would spend money on women.

Seeing that, that employee said politely, “Beautiful lady, please wait for a moment. I’ll take that pair of shoes for you immediately. Please take a seat here. Do you need me to pour a glass of water for you?”

That employee’s behavior and attitude were indeed vastly different from just now. It was so shocking that it would make one sigh heavily.

Harvey heaved a sigh and said nothing. He was used to those kinds of things during these three years. He cared not for those things now since it was not the first time he experienced such a thing, being looked down upon by the others.

Harvey did not have the habit of creating trouble. But they had not left yet, that employee had taken down that pair of shoes and handed them to the seductive woman just now. She even said in a flattering tone, “Young lady, this pair of shoes are meant and prepared for you… Not like someone else. They don’t have the money, but they want to act like some rich people here. They just want to try them on and take a few photographs. After that, they can go online to Amazon to buy a fake brand so that they can act like they are rich. Isn’t that so?

“They’re poor, but they want to act smug and arrogant here. How could people like them be so bold to come in here, claiming that they want to try on that pair of shoes? It’s absolutely hilarious!”

The employee had no intention of hiding her opinion as her voice was extremely loud. At that moment, quite many customers had looked over at them, started to whisper among themselves about Harvey and the others.

At first, Harvey did not want to bother about them. But when he noticed that Mandy’s facial expression had worsened, he could not hold himself back anymore. He turned around and said coldly, “You’re just an employee here. Why? You only help to sell some clothes and shoes here. How could you act like you’re so much more superior than others? Do you think that you own this shop? What are you pretending about?”
