At that moment, a hand reached out and slapped Mr. Lewis’s hands as Harvey stood up and went in between Mr. Lewis and Mandy.
He gave Mr. Lewis a cold glare.
Mandy was quite relieved when she saw Harvey standing up for her, but felt a bit disappointed again after seeing that Harvey hadn’t done anything else than just slapping.
“Well well well, who would’ve thought that such actions could come from a useless husband like you?” Mr. Lewis mocked while flicking his hands.
“I wouldn’t want to be out of luck after getting in contact with such a poor, pitiful guy like you.” Mr. Lewis continued to ridicule Harvey while smirking.
“Get lost kid. Go back to where you’re from or I’ll beat the shit out of you if you dare to cause any trouble to Mr. Lewis.” The subordinate shouted angrily.
“Hey, we’re civilized citizens. Don’t just threaten people like that, what are you? A thug?” Mr. Lewis glared at the subordinate for a while before he patted Harvey’s face.
“Hey buddy, your woman here got me interested, so why don’t you do me a favor and get yourself out of here, while I’m still in a good mood. I can even pay you if you insist.” Mr. Lewis offered while reaching for his wallet.
He pulled a stack of cash and raised it in front of Harvey. The cash went flying all around when Mr. Lewis let go of it.
