Hayden's Mansion.
Patrick opened his eyes and was looking intently at Aimee's sleeping face when the phone rang.
The caller was from an unfamiliar number.
Patrick frowned, and answered suspiciously.
A voice with an Ancegan accent came from the other end of the phone and asked him, "Hi Mr. Hayden, may I ask if you can contact Mr. Mccoy? The ferry is about to leave. He has been unreachable."
Patrick was speechless.
After thinking about it, Patrick understood what was going on.
Presumably, Eden booked the ferry and used his cell phone number as an emergency contact.
However, what was this guy doing? So that someone can call him.
Patrick thought for a while and said, "Just drive away normally. I'll contact him."
Eden was always unreliable in doing things. Seemingly, it was the same this time. He completely forgot that he had booked a ferry.
After he got in touch with him, he will let him make an appointment for tomorrow.
When the person on the other end of the phone heard what he said, he stopped worrying and hung up the phone.
Patrick called Eden, but no one answered.
He frowned, sent another message to Eden, and returned to the room.
Aimee was woken up when Patrick's cell phone rang just now.
She looked at Patrick and asked, "What's wrong? Who's calling?"
"People from Ancegan can't get in touch with Eden," Patrick said.
Aimee asked, "What about Minnie? Can't she get in touch?"
"I didn't ask that," Patrick said.
Aimee thought for a while, and said, "Then I'll call Minnie."
She fumbled for her cell phone, then found out Minnie's number and called it. Of course, it was the same, and she couldn't get through at all.
Seeing Aimee's bewildered face, Patrick suddenly thought of something, chuckled, and said, "Okay, don't worry. The two of them are grown up, and nothing will happen."
Aimee nodded upon hearing this.
She was about to continue to sleep for a while, but she opened her eyes suddenly, looked at Patrick strangely, and asked, "Why do I feel that your smile is so strange? Did you think of something?"
Patrick said, "Yes."
Aimee's curiosity was aroused, and she immediately looked at Patrick eagerly and said, "Tell me, what is it?"
Patrick smiled mysteriously at Aimee and said, "If I explain this kind of thing too clearly, it seems not very good."
Aimee was at a loss for words.
She looked at Patrick even more strangely, always feeling that there was something in this guy's words.
Seeing how she wanted to know so much, Patrick stopped teasing her, but leaned over and whispered something in Aimee's ear.
She raised her hand and patted Patrick's chest, saying, "You bastard, aren't you too bad?"
"Am I? Didn't I just tell the truth?" Patrick smiled lowly.
Aimee turned away, not wanting to pay any attention to this man.
She finally understood that when Patrick got bad, he wouldn't even let his friend off.
Seeing that she didn't believe it, Patrick said, "Why don't we make a bet."
Aimee still didn't want to pay attention to Patrick.
Patrick leaned over again, got close to Aimee's ear, and said, "If, if I win, baby, tell me what are you guys hiding from me?"
Hearing this, Aimee froze suddenly, and then laughed awkwardly.
She said stiffly, "What are you talking about? Why can't I understand? How could we hide something from you?"
Aimee was about to go crazy, and knew that the most dangerous person in this matter was herself.
However, she had already promised grandfather that no matter what, she could not tell Patrick this secret.
