Healing my disabled husband novel Chapter 687

Chapter 687 I can't stop laughing

Ben calmed Tilly down and led her in.
Although Tilly was nervous and apprehensive, she was from a wealthy family and went though many things that needed her to socialize, so naturally she wouldn't be so cowardly right now.
After Ben introduced her to Albert and Piper, she said, "Mr. Lee, Mrs. Less, I'm Tilly."
Her voice was obedient and cute, her smile was sweet and beautiful, and she was completely pleasing.
However, Piper frowned when she heard Tilly addressing her and Albert, and said, "Tilly, you have already married Ben. Why are you still calling us like that? It's so strange."
Tilly was taken aback, and didn't expect Piper to be so enthusiastic.
She was momentarily at a loss.
Originally, calling them that way was because she wanted to take it step by step, instead of just calling them by their name when she came here the first time.
What was more, Tilly still didn't know whether Ben's parents had accepted her.
However, hearing Piper say that now, Tilly regretted it.
She thought it was a proper way, but it caused Piper to be so unhappy.
Tilly became even more tense.
Ben looked at his mother and said helplessly, "Mom, you just scared Tilly."
Piper said, "It must be you who say bad things about me, making Tilly mistakenly think that I'm a very fierce mother-in-law. Obviously I'm such a gentle mother-in-law."
It made Ben have a headache that his mother started again.
He leaned close to Tilly's ear and whispered, "Mom can be more dramatic sometimes. You'll get used to it."
Tilly looked at Ben in astonishment, and it was hard to believe that such words came out of Ben's mouth.
Was it really okay to complain about his mother like this?
Tilly frowned, and whispered to Ben, "Aren't you a little too much?"
Although the voices of the two people talking were very low, Piper still heard it.
Piper immediately said, "Son, you heard it. Your wife has already said that you're just too much. You always complain about me."
Ben was at a loss for words.
What can he do? One was his mother, and the other was his wife.
When the two of them complained about him together, all Ben can do was recognize it.
Ben raised his hand to touch Tilly's head, saying, "Babe, just call them by their name."
Tilly's face instantly colored, and even her breathing became hot.
However, she believed that since Piper was dissatisfied with calling her Mrs. Lee, she should accept and like her as her daughter-in-law.
So, she boldly called out, "Albert, Piper."
Piper immediately cheered up, stretched out her hand and pulled Tilly over, saying, "Hey, that sounds good."
Ever since Piper knew that Patrick married, she seemed to be possessed, and every day she hoped that Ben could marry as soon as possible.
In this regard, Ben was really helpless.
He can only be thankful that his mother, although extremely looking forward to his marriage and childbirth as soon as possible, did not directly take photos to let him choose like Eden's mother did.
However, Ben was still very clear about how much his mother expected to be a mother-in-law.
So, now that his mother was so happy, although Ben may feel a little exaggerated, he didn't dislike the feeling.
Ben looked at Tilly tenderly and said, "Talk to Mom. I'll make a phone call."
Tilly followed Ben subconsciously, but she also knew that Ben was giving her a chance to be alone with his parents so that she could integrate into their family as soon as possible.
Tilly understood Ben's good intention.
Therefore, although she was a little nervous, she could still accept it.
Ben walked into the yard, but there was really no phone call to make.
After thinking about it, he still called Eden.
On the other side, Eden was originally "fighting" with him the chat group, but in the end, this guy seemed to have disappeared, and he didn't reply to his messages at all.
There was no point in sending messages to him, so he took a rest.
Who would have thought that this guy would dare call him?
Eden didn't answer the call right away, but picked up when Ben called the second time and the ring rang until he was about to hang up.
He said, "What are you doing? What are you calling me for? Show off? Ben, why didn't I realize that you're so unreasonable?"
Ben laughed and said to Eden, "I guess you won't be able to reason, so I'll act first. How about it? I won this round."
Eden was about to rage from Ben's smug voice.
He gritted his teeth and said, "Ben, you're simply outrageous. Do you know that once you get the certificate, my mom goes crazy again?"
Not long after the official announcement that Ben had obtained a marriage certificate, Mariam called Eden and scolded him.
If Eden hadn't told Mariam that he was already with Minnie, and that it was only a matter of time before they got married, Mariam might have rushed to South Island to find a new blind date for him there.
Just thinking about it gave Eden a terrible headache.
And all of this was thanks to this unreliable guy.
Eden said, "Ben, you're wicked."
Ben didn't care about Eden's complaints about himself but said, "You already have Miss Thomas, so what are you worried about?"
Eden was so pissed off by Ben, and felt that if he continued to chat with Ben like this, he would definitely die from anger.
So, Eden decided to ignore this guy.
Eden hung up the phone directly, extremely arrogant.
Ben looked at the phone screen speechlessly. This guy probably won't grow up in this life. How could he be so childish?
However, he came out and made a call to Eden, and presumably, the atmosphere inside should already be very good.
Ben turned and walked in, only to see his mother holding Tilly's hand and couldn't stop laughing.
