Healing my disabled husband novel Chapter 764

Chapter 764 Lock the Door Securely Backhand

The results of Camdyn's check-up were good except for some minor issues, which put Casey's mind at ease completely.
Aimee patted her head gently, saying, "Now you can relax."
Casey hugged Aimee's arm tightly, saying, "I've been too nervous lately."
"Well, now grandpa has also gotten a checkup," Aimee replied reassuringly.
Casey said, "Well, I don't think I'm exaggerating too much."
Aimee laughed. "No, you did the right thing."
Casey immediately smiled happily.
Aimee looked at her and said, "How about we schedule a physical exam for you?"
Casey hesitated.
Although it was reasonable to have an annual physical exam, she had no interest in it whatsoever.
Some of the tests would be uncomfortable and just thinking about them made her want to refuse.
"I'll wait a bit longer," Casey said. "It hasn't been a year yet."
Aimee found this amusing. Was Casey criticizing their medical skills? But since Casey didn't want to do it, Aimee didn't force her.
"Okay," Aimee said. "Just remember when the time comes, Kelvin will schedule it for you."
Casey nodded and thought she could delay it for a while longer.
However, what Casey didn't expect was that she actually managed to avoid her physical exam this year. Instead, some other tests came up that were worse than the physical exam itself.
After returning from the exams together with everyone else back at Hayden's old mansion for dinner that evening, Camdyn had someone make fish soup in a clay pot, which was actually one of Casey's favorite dishes.
But as soon as the soup was served on the table, Casey suddenly felt nauseous and jumped up from her chair before running into the bathroom where sounds of retching could be heard coming from inside.
Kelvin rushed over and began patting Casey on the back, while everyone else sat there stunned, before realizing what had happened.
Aimee got up from her seat and went upstairs. While waiting for Casey to finish vomiting, she handed over a small box to her once everything settled down again.
This was something new for Casey.
She'd never vomited like this before nor experienced any discomfort in her stomach growing up, so naturally tears streamed down face as blood rushed through head, during these moments of intense nausea.
Looking at Aimee blankly and holding out this small box with confusion, she was asking, "What is this?"
"It's a pregnancy test," Aimee replied calmly.
"The instructions are on top of box or do you want me to teach you?"
When Casey heard the words "pregnancy test," she was completely stunned.
Her mind couldn't process it, and she just stared at Aimee and the small box in her hand as if it were a hot potato that she wanted to throw away.
Kelvin reached out and touched Casey's head, saying, "I'll go with you. Let's go."
Casey was confused and stunned at the same time.
Did she have no pride?
Without hesitation, Casey turned around with the box in her arms and rushed into the restroom. She even locked the door tightly behind her.
