Healing my disabled husband novel Chapter 914

Chapter 914 How can anyone be cruel to them?

Tilly and Ben had been discussing the topic of sleeping all night long, from how to sleep to whether their way of sleeping was the same or not. Tilly was at her wit's end.
Usually, she would be the one clinging onto Ben, but now that he was clinging onto her. She didn't know what to do with herself.
Finally satisfied, Ben held Tilly in his arms while she hummed and hawed with a layer of mist in her eyes. He gently stroked her back and asked what was wrong.
"What?" Tilly's brain wasn't functioning properly at this point as she looked at him strangely for a while before finally understanding what he meant.
"Nothing really. I'm just tired and want to sleep."
Ben looked down at Tilly skeptically; he half-believed what she said.
Feeling uneasy under his gaze, Tilly covered his eyes with her hand and said, "Hey! Don't look at me like that! I'm not lying!"
"I never said you were," replied Ben.
If it weren't for Tilly insisting on telling him this so adamantly, then maybe he wouldn't have thought too much about it. But now that he heard it from her own mouth like this, he knew there must be more going on than just being tired.
"However," continued Ben after a moment's pause. "You were pretty good earlier despite being so tired."
Tilly blushed furiously upon hearing this comment from him. How could someone be so shameless? She poked his arm with an annoyed expression, "Don't talk nonsense! It's not like I'm hiding anything from you!"
Ben lowered his head and kissed Tilly on the forehead affectionately; this girl really didn't understand subtlety or tactfulness very well yet. She had already given herself away without any prompting whatsoever - there was no need for him to pry further into things when they were already out in the open like this.
But still, he couldn't help but tease her sometimes just because it made him feel closer to her somehow.
Tiredness soon overtook them both as they drifted off into peaceful slumber together.
The next day arrived without incident as everyone slept until afternoon came around once again.
Originally, at dinner last night, everyone had an appointment to go out to sea. Who would have thought that when they opened their eyes, the sun was already setting.
However, they can't go to sea, but they can have fun at the seaside.
Matilda and the others directly organized beach volleyball.
At first, they were grouped by family, but then somehow, it became a group of men and a group of women.
Casey came over and pulled Aimee over, looking like a poor little girl and whispering in Aimee's ears all the time that she must teach these men a lesson.
Thus, the beach volleyball directly rose to a war between men and women.
Casey didn't mind watching the show and had been cheering for Aimee and the others, making the atmosphere lively.
Eden patted Casey on the head, and said, "It's too much. Look at those on the opposite side. How can there be any one who will be cruel to them?"
