When Mariela opened her eyes, she saw a scruffy man with a full beard giving her artificial respiration. 

Seeing his face approaching, she felt extremely disgusted and wanted to throw up. 

She immediately pushed the man away and said, “Back off! What are you doing?” 

Jared took a step forward and said, “Mariela, he just saved you” 

Mariela looked up and saw Jared’s cold but handsome face. 

Last night, while chatting with Agnes, she accidentally overheard Agnes mentioning that Jared was a swimming expert. 

She fell into the water due to the crowd’s pushing. 

she thought Jared would definitely jump in to save her. If that happened, she would have a reason and opportunity to get closer to him.

She wouldn’t risk her life just for a guy.
