The thought made Beatrice’s blood boil, What’s so good about Agnes? Jared is great in so many ways, but he just sucks at picking people. How could he fall for her? 

Agnes was also seething with anger. Beatrice had always been obvious about her desire for Jared, completely disregarding Agnes. 

She could tolerate her lust. She could even tolerate the occasional torment due to jealousy. But what Agnes couldn’t stand was Beatrice showing up in the middle of the night to stir up trouble.

When something happened at home before, it was harder than climbing to heaven to ask for Jared’s help. This old-fashioned and pedantic Agnes, saying she will make her suffer, was just talk 

Beatrice laughed, “Your husband, you say it so sweetly, who knows how long he’ll be your husband? Agnes, if I were you, I would take the initiative to divorce, so you won’t end up being thrown out at the end.” 

Agnes promptly slapped Beatrice. 

Beatrice was stunned. This was the first time Agnes had ever hit her. After a moment of shock, a burning rage filled her. Who the hell did Agnes think she was, daring to hit her? 

Beatrice raised her hand to retaliate, but Agnes caught her arm, “Beatrice, this slap is to remind you that running your mouth comes at a cost. I can let bygones be bygones, but if you say something like this again, I’ll make you pay” 

With that, Agnes walked out of the dressing room, leaving Beatrice behind. 

Beatrice was shaking with rage. Who the hell did Agnes think she was? She’s just a lowlife leeching off the Pritchard family. Now she dares to lord over her Beatnce had had enough. She thought, “Without Jared’s support, let’s see how long you can act like a big shot, Agnes” 

Although Laura said the timing wasn’t right yet, Beatrice couldn’t wait any longer. She wanted to see Agnes fall from grace, and when she did, she’d stomp her into the ground! 

For the next few days, Beatrice behaved herself. She did try to instigate some trouble between Mamie and Agnes, but Mamie ended up humiliating her, which only fueled her anger. 

They finished work early today, and Farrell came to visit the set. That night, the main creative team went to the Lavender Restaurant for a tour and dinner. Lavender Restaurant is a famous barbecue restaurant in S City, known for its rock grill.
